New Pastor Installed At St. Peter Claver Catholic Church
St. Peter Claver Catholic Church held the installation Mass and reception for its new pastor recently. Father Agustinus Seran, S. V. D., was installed by Bishop Gregory Parkes of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. (Photos by Julia Jackson)
The new pastor was welcomed to the community by Father Theobald Wenia (ALCP), Father Stephen Brown (SVD), Father Seran, Father Pierre Dorvil, pastor of the Haitian community, and Bishop Gregory Parkes.
Bishop Gregory Parkes of the Diocese of St. Petersburg conducted the installation Mass for Father Agustinus Seran, the new pastor for St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Ladies of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #379 in attendance were: Margie Bellware, Yvonne Nellum, Jamci Evans, Sylvia Fontenette and Gwen Philogene.
Members of the Program Committee included: Betoria Watson, Chair Francine Haig-Jones, Claudia Laurenceau, Father Agustinus Seran, Mychelle Robinson, Sonja Garcia, Marie Forte, Mary Pinheiro and Mark Hart.
