It looks as if Austin’s case against the Quartermaine family is finally mov- ing to the next level. Esme seems to have reason to celebrate, ’cause she’s kicking up her heels at the Savoy. Trina proves that she can’t help but be compassion- ate.
Valentin finds himself in an unexpected situation, while Anna is taken aback by what she finds at the bedside of Chloe, the nurse who was helping Drew. Peter gives Victor an ultimatum. The Bold & The Beautiful: Hope offers Finn emotional support in his current dilemma with Sheila. Eric experiences an epic epiphany about his cur- rent situation. Even though it’s her husband, not her brother, who’s most re- cently been bending Hope’s ear, Steffy becomes concerned about Thomas’ feelings for the onetime object of his obsession. Forgetting for a moment Paris’ infatuation with Finn, she gets her flirt on with Zende while he designs for the Hope for the Future line.
Making the most of the fact that he’s for the moment out of both the dog- house and prison, Liam sets up a romantic and passionate rendezvous for Hope. Paris and Zende are all but guaranteed to have a ball when she takes him on a date to Dodger Stadium. Zende makes it clear that he wants a future with Paris.
The Young & The Restless: Ashland asks Nick to keep a secret, presum- ably from Victoria. Things have been a little testy between these two of late, so it’s no surprise when a frustrated Sally goes on the defensive with Adam.
Despite her best efforts to move forward, Mariah once again finds herself struggling with her maternal instincts.
It appears as though all of the Newmans are working together to ensure that Victoria’s wedding goes off with a hitch. Nate and Elena cover for a friend, it can only be Ashland.

FAMU Concert Choir Wins 1st Place In ‘The Battle Of Voices’
Florida A&M University Concert Choir, fresh off its na- tional appearance at the NFL Kickoff in Tampa, won top honors in the inaugural, “The Battle of Voices.”
Competing against choirs from Edward Waters College (EWC) and Florida Memorial University (FMU), the FAMU Concert Choir won first place and Audience favorite.
The event was hosted by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror- ity Inc., Zeta Tau Omega Chap- ter in West Palm Beach, FL.
The audience participated in a Zoom poll to vote for their fa- vorite choir. The Choir earned $750, bragging rights and a plaque.
FAMU’s Concert Choir
EWC won second place - $500, bragging rights and a plaque. FMU placed third
place and took home $250, bragging rights and a plaque.

Talladega College Has New Acting President; Talks Of Returning Football To The School
Lisa Long was recently named acting president of Tal- ladega College, replacing long- time president, Dr. Billy Hawkins, who stepped down due to health reasons.
Ms. Long in a letter to the staff and administration of the college stated that she is com- mitted to continuing the mo- mentum of the school and sharing some of its most re- cent accomplishments which include:
• Launching its first Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
• Increased enrollment for three consecutive years
• Cleared over $900,000 in student balances
• Received an anonymous scholarship donation for

Also, in April, the Tal- ladega College Board of Trustees authorized then Tal- ladega College President Billy C. Hawkins to employ a con- sultant to determine the feasi- bility of reviving the football program.
“The year 2021 marks the 100-year anniversary of our historic back-to-back champi- onship win,” said Hawkins. Long said the study will not be completed until January. “There is no plan for football at this time,” she said.

Alcorn State’s Athletic Director Resigns
Alcorn State University will conduct a national search for its next athletic di- rector after Derek Horne resigned.
Horne’s resignation, an- nounced late last Thursday, was effective immediately. The university did not pro- vide a reason for his depar- ture.
Horne has led the school’s athletics depart- ment since August 2014.

Horne’s departure came about two weeks after it was revealed the university did not have a certified athletic trainer on staff, which forced the football team to cancel two practices ahead of a road game at South Alabama, the Vicksburg Post reported. He announced last week that the university had hired Roder- ick Alexander Young as its head trainer, the newspa- per said.
