MS. LEATHA BOONE
A Graveside Service for Ms. Leatha Boone, who passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, will be held in Ochlocknee, Geor- gia on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10 a. m.
A viewing will be held at Freedom Church of Tampa, 2608 S. 86th St., Tampa, FL 33619, Pas- tor Dominic Watkins, on Thurs- day, October 7, 2021, 4-7 p. m.
Born in Ochlocknee, GA, Ms. Boone attended the schools in Thomas County, GA.
She later moved to Tampa, where she worked for Manhat- tan Convalescent and South Tampa Rehab for 28 years.
She loved to cook, play cards and enjoy family and friends.

MOTHER BARBARA JEAN ROBINSON
A Celebration of Life in loving memory of Mother Barbara Jean Robinson, who passed away Thurs- day, September 30, 2021, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at New Testament Church, 11530 Walker Road, Thonotosassa, Florida, 33592, with Pastor Al Gal- lon, officiating.
Mother Barbara Jean Robinson transitioned into Eternal Rest on Thursday September 30, 2021. Born on March 1, 1935, she was the eldest of 13 children born to the late Elder William Watson, Sr., and Rosetta Watson of Steubenville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Big Red High School and continued her studies at The University of Akron.
Barbara married Ramon Robinson in June of 1955, and from that union came six wonderful chil- dren. Barbara was employed at the University of Akron for 30 years be- fore retiring in 1996.
She was a faithful member of Akron Apostolic Temple in Akron, Ohio until relocating to Stone Mountain Georgia. While in Stone Mountain, she served faithfully as a member of Building Lives Anointed Ministries with her daughter under the leadership of her “Son In Love,” Bishop George L. Kennedy, Jr.
Following that, she relocated once again to Tampa, Florida, where she spent her later years worshipping at Glorious Church Of God In Christ (Pastor, Charles L. Kennedy). Her most recent and cur- rent church home was Rivers Of Life Church of Brandon, FL with Pastors Curtis and Dorothy Swaf- ford.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: 12 siblings, Her 6 loving chil- dren, Krystal, Sibyl, Shawn (Terry), Ramon (Bernadette), Brian, and Ann. Also, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly as well.
Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents.
The processional into the church will assemble at 10:45 a.m. at the church.

MRS. EMMA RUTH ALLEN
Mrs. Emma Ruth Allen of West Tampa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Serv- ices will be held on Saturday, Oc- tober 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle, 6912 Williams Road, Seffner, FL, 33584 with Minister Lemuel Harris, Officiat- ing.
MASKS ARE RECOM- MENDED.
Mrs. Emma Ruth Allen was a native of Blakely, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for 71 years. She attended and received her high school diploma from Blake High School Adult Education program. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church and was employed in the Maintenance/ Services Division at the Tampa Police Department for 36 1⁄2 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sanford and Loretta Mosely; husband, Richard Lee Allen, Sr.; two brothers, Sanford Mosely, Jr., and Abraham Mosely; three sisters, Katie Brown, Bertha Mills, and Essie Mae Bryant; son, Richard Lee Allen, Jr.; daughter, Emma Lee Allen; nephews, Calvin Hopkins, Alvin Hopkins, and Sammy Rivers; and niece, Loretta (Sweetie) Brown-Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Irene Bussie, of New Jersey; grandchildren, Richard (Richie) Allen, lll, Leonard (Leon) Grice, Tamera (Tammy) Simpson, and Cecilia Allen (Cameron and Chaz); great grandchildren, Tamerick (TJ) Simpson, Madison Simpson, Jonathan Grice, Ashley Grice and Alexandria Grice; nephews, Bobby Earl Hopkins, Joel Cal- houn, Marvin Mosely (Diane), and Donnie Smith; nieces, Diane Johnson (Frank), Yvonne (Wild Bill) Bryant, Marilyn Jones (Wayne), Sandra Bonds, Josephine Calhoun, and Felicia Mosely; special great niece, Tamika Bryant-Thomas (Titus); special great nephews, Eddie Wilson and Craig Bythewood; special friend/sister, Inez Russel; god children, Jamal Jefferson, and Jameshia Jefferson and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

MRS. ANDREA YVETTE MC DOWELL
Funeral Service for Mrs. An- drea Yvette McDowell, who passed away, will be held Saturday, Octo- ber 9th, 2021 at 11 a.m., at Friend- ship M.B. Church, 4301 W. Cypress Street, with Rev. Frank Watson, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Our beloved Andrea “Yvette” was born in Tampa, FL on March 13, 1957. Her infectious smile and laughter permanently found its way into the hearts of many peo- ple, all of whom had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, and friend. She cared for others so much it became her career in healthcare.
She enjoyed the Exciting Gospel Warriors performing live throughout the Tampa Bay area. Yvette was a member of Friend- ship M.B. Church. She embraced motherhood to both sons, and five grandchildren to whom she was amazing.
She was preceded in by: son, Rodney, Jr.; father, Robert Lee; grandparents, Columbus and Willie Mae; aunts, Arletha and De- lores; uncles, Kenneth, Nathaniel, and Alfonso; cousin, Marcus.
She will be deeply missed and we will hold on to the all of the beautiful memories that we expe- rienced with her in our lifetime.
She is now reunited with her son, Rodney, in heaven for all eter- nity.

MR. WASHINGTON “BRO” WARTHEN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Washington Warthen, affectionately known as “Bro,” who passed away September 20, 2021, will be held 3 p.m., Satur- day, October 9, 2021, at House of God Church, 2909 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33605, with Rev. Aaron Moore, Officiating and Rev. Allen Kane, Eulogist. Interment will be on the grounds of Holly Spring Baptist Church, Sandersville, Georgia.
Washington Warthen, affec- tionately known as “Bro,” passed away on Monday, Sep- tember 20, 2021, in Tampa, Florida. He was born November 5, 1952, in Sandersville, Georgia. He grew up in Sandersville, where he was raised by his grandmother, Mrs. Ella B. Warthen. He attended and grad- uated from T.J. Elder High School, graduating with the class of 1970. During high school he was a member of the Tiger Marching Band, playing 1st trum- pet.
After graduating from high school Bro traveled to San Fran- cisco, California, where he at- tended City College of San Francisco as a music major. He enjoyed music and enjoyed play- ing the trumpet.
Bro loved people and easily made friends. He enjoyed inter- acting with family and partici- pating in church as a member of the Brownsville House of Prayer Church in Miami, where he sang with male chorus. He resided in Miami, Florida for a number of years where he engaged in vari- ous employment opportunities until his health failed and he re- located to Tampa, Florida to be near siblings.
His grandmother, Mrs. Ella B. Warthen, and his mother, Elder Glisteen May, preceded him in death.
He is survived by: five sis- ters, Mary May, Glistina Hicks- Moore (Aaron), Beverly Robinson, Cathy Jean Wilson, and Marcia Ann Dean; two brothers, Alvin Caines and Crawford May, Jr., (Terry); one uncle, Julius F. Warthen, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The processional into the church will commence at 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
Masks and social distancing are required to attend services as prescribed by CDC guidelines. Your cooperation is greatly ap- preciated.
