MRS. ETHEL LEE PEARSON
Mrs. Ethel Lee Pearson of Tampa, FL passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Funeral Serv- ices will be held on Saturday, Oc- tober 9, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Apostle Elroy Huff, Officiat- ing. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ethel Lee Pearson was born January 20, 1937, in Albany, Georgia, to Dan and Mary Alice Cole and moved to Tampa in 1957.
Mrs. Pearson married Mr. Sammie Lee Pearson, Sr., in Sep- tember 1957, and to this union, they were blessed with seven chil- dren.
Mrs. Pearson was a former member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cook- ing, sewing, being a homemaker and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Sammie Lee Pear- son, Sr.; parents, Dan and Mary Alice Cole; daughter, Patricia D. Cruz and grandson, Levi Dixon, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: 3 daughters, Jennie (John), Hazel (Ben) and Angela (Mike), all of Tampa, FL; 3 sons, Sammie, Jr., Ricky (Melissa) and Rudy (Nikia), all of Tampa, Florida; 27 grand- children, Kienuwa, Enibokun (Simon), Elroy, Lynford, Sophia, Tricia, Carl, Derek, Deirdra, Zan- dreal, Ebony, Erica, David, Joseph, Sammie, An’Tia, Ri’Jae, Rikki, Alexandria, Rudy, II, Alexia, Matthew, Quicy, Malcom, Rudy, III, and A’yana; 18 great grands, Elroy, Jr., Jordan, Elroynaja, Christopher, Haimerej, Michael, Mikayla, La’Dajah, Ja’Mya, Ja’Nay, Ja’Quan, Shakira, Jayden, Colton, Auri Marie, Aleena, Rai’Lynn and Ny’Jai; 2 great great grands, Zion and Mark Anthony; godsons, Dar- rell, Donald and Jayden (Pop Pop); goddaughter, Jaliz; 2 broth- ers, Oscar Emmanuel and Roo- sevelt (Karen); 6 sisters, Inez, Adele, Estelle (Willie James), Glo- ria (Danny), Rosa Mae and Bertha Mae (Willie) and a host of sorrow- ing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MR. JOHN L. PITTMAN
Mr. John L. Pittman of Tampa, FL passed away on Thurs- day, September 23, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33606, with Prophet Farnorris Morgan, Officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. John L. Pittman was a na- tive of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 69 years. He gradu- ated from Blake High School, “Class of 1963” and was a mem- ber of Mt. Tabor Missionary Bap- tist Church.
He was born on December 19, 1945. Mr. Pittman worked for Habana Health Care Center, where he later retired. He also worked as a Bartender. He loved his wife, children and family. “He said what he meant and meant what he said.”
He was preceded in death by: his parents, father, Willie D. Pittman, Sr., and mother, Roselle Jackson Pittman; brothers, Den- nis Pittman, Jessie Pittman, Willie Pittman, Jr., and Leroy Pittman; sisters, Christine Pittman, Nannie Mae Jones, and Dorothy Pittman.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: wife, Deborah Pittman; two daughters, Tonita Mutcher- son (Sammie) and Donna Scott; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Jean (Louis), Vikki Jackson, and LaTanya Stacey (Johnny); three sons, John Pittman, Jr., Eric Fra- zier, and Donuette Pittman; step- son, Darrell Pilcher; grandchildren, Koriday Green, Johanna Aydelotte, Tishanbrea Chisom (Chris), Givante Pittman, Tasha Pittman, Tia Pittman, Chequayea Pittman, Dontavius Pittman, Samari Mutcherson, Christian Pittman, and Destiny Pittman; 19 great grandchildren; loving sister, Mildred Johnson; “like a brother,” Marvin Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends and devoted friend, Ethel Scott.

Mrs. Joan V. Williams of Riverview, FL passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. A Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 12:00 Noon at Brown Memorial COGIC, 2313 East 27th Avenue, Tampa FL 33605, with Bishop An- thony Gilyard, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Mrs. Joan Williams was a na- tive of Fayetteville, NC, and a res- ident of Tampa for 60 plus years. She attended the Hillsbor- ough County Public Schools and was a faithful member of Brown Memorial COGIC for 35 years. She was employed by the Hillsborough County School Board and retired as a Special Ed- ucation Teacher who worked with disabled children and young adults at LaVoy and Caminiti Ex- ceptional Centers for 34 years.
Joan was preceded in death by: her loving mother, Minnie B. Person.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 5 Children, daughters, Sheryal Baker (Charity, Sr.) and Remecia Oliver (Johnny, Jr.); sons, Marlon Fields, James Wright and Jason Scott; 13 grand- children, Charity Baker, Jr., (Jas- mine), Christopher, Bryce and Brynan Baker, Mya Fields, Johnny Oliver, III, Jontrell, Jay- den, Jakai, Jaxsen, Jade and Ja- zlon Oliver, and Jaelin Everett; 2 great granddaughters, Naomi and London Baker.
Joan was blessed to have an extended family: sisters and brothers, Jessie Williams, Shirley Jackson, Gail Reeves, Joe Sparks, James Taylor, Ghana Thompson, Sharon Crandell (Sammie), James and Tonya Crandall, Calvin Fisher (Rita), Darlene James, Joseph Logan, and Debra Fulks; and a host of nieces and nephews; very special friends and co-workers, Terri Pittman, The Golden Girls Crew - Valarie Clark, Angela Anderson and Anita Shaw, Emma and Ed- ward Ford, Elder Tommy and Mother Jones, Marquit Hampton, Tammy Kavanaugh, Molly Hall, Ronna Hellman, Mrs. Vera, and Ms. Dwan; a host of church mem- bers, neighbors, and friends who all can’t be named, but will not be forgotten.

Mr. Junice C. Wright, II, of Valrico, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bell Shoals Church (Brandon Campus), 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Bran- don, FL, 33511, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pas- tor, Officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will be in the Wright Family Cemetery in Alamo, Georgia.
Mr. Wright was a native of Glenwood, GA and a resident of Tampa for 56 years. He at- tended Savannah State Univer- sity and was a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage. He was employed by the Hillsborough County Public Schools as a Math Educator at Greco Middle School.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Khrystil Gatewood (Michael) of Mount Pleasant, MI and Ingrid Byer (David) of Groveland, FL; son, Junice C. Wright, III, of St Pe- tersburg, FL; brothers, Charles Wright (Barbara) of Tallahas- see, FL, Cordie Wright (Frankye) of Savannah, Geor- gia, Frank Wright (Cynthia) of Aiken, SC, and Garry Wright (Gloria) of Notasulga, AL; sis- ters, Barbara Humphrey of Ft. A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Thelma Hamilton, who passed on September 19, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 12 noon at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Mark Pierce, Officiating. Inter- ment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Thelma Hamilton was gifted to the parentage of Will and Mary Davis on May 26, 1926, in Cordele, Georgia. Mrs. Hamilton was united in holy matrimony to John Hamilton.
Thelma was preceded in death by: her parents, Will and Mary Davis; husband, John Hamilton; daughters, Gloria Macues and Mary Rose Thomp- son; brothers, James, Silas, Tay- lor and Lamar Davis; sister, Mable Smith; grandchildren, Darrell George, Sr., and Ronnel Walker; nieces and nephews, Donald McNeal, Maryliz Davis, Benjamin Hamilton, Antionette Davis, Tyrone Davis, Mary Davis, Henrietta Davis, Ethel Pease and Renee Davis.
