WASHINGTON
MS. LEOLA HOLTON
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Leola (Peaches) Holton, who passed away on May 30, 2020, will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 12 p.m.
Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Guidelines set forth by the CDC are in effect and will be fol- lowed during this time on Satur- day, the day of service.
Ms. Holton passed away peacefully at the age of 58 after a brief illness.
A native of Havana, FL, she moved to Plant City at a young age. She was the daughter of James and Rebecca Holton.
She was a hard worker and enjoyed vacations. She cared deeply for her family and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Leola was the mother of two children and grandmother of two. She is survived by: her daughter, Krystal J.; son, An- thony Freeman Argo, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Jaleah Faith and Timmauri Jace.
Viewing and funeral services will be held at Faith Temple Pro- gressive Primitive Baptist Church, 808 West Washington Street, Plant City, FL 33563.

MS. MELVA DREW FORD
A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held for Ms. Melva Drew Ford. On Sunday, May 31, 2020, God walked through His beautiful garden where he planted and found a flower in full bloom and plucked it for His glory to be with Him forever, for God hath made everything beautiful in His garden.
Melva Drew Ford was born in Tampa, Florida, on July 9, 1951 to the parentage of Joe Henry, Sr. and Selena Drew. She was edu- cated in the Hillsborough County School System. After several years of dedicated service, Ms. Ford retired from Pepsi Cola Bot- tling Company.
She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, Joe Henry Drew, Sr. and Selena Drew; brothers, Joe Henry Drew, Jr., Lee Drew and Herman Drew; sis- ters, Mae (Tina) Ross, Bessie Drew and Helen Martin.
She leaves to cherish beautiful and fond memories of her with: 2 devoted children, Derek Smith (Debbie), (Kaleen, TX), and Tenika Smith (Tampa, FL); 7 grandchildren, Justin Emanual, Darius Smith, Daitiana Emanuel, Danila Smith, Michael Reynolds, Javonte Reynolds and Deya Smith; 3 great grandchildren, Sa’miyah Emanuel, Xander Emanuel and Khalaia Emanuel; 3 brothers, David Drew, Willie Drew and Herbert Drew; 2 sis- ters, Betty Jackson (Tampa, FL), Barbara Jacobs and husband, Dessie (Merritt Island, FL); 2 sis- ters-in-law, Theresa Drew (De- troit, MI) and Viola Drew (Tampa, FL) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, June 12, 2020, at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3 – 8 p. m. Due to the current CDC restric- tions; we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respects. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

MR. DENZEL J. SIMMONS
Mr. Denzel J. Simmons of Tampa passed away Monday, June 1, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 13 at 2 p. m. at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Avenue, Rev- erend Benjamin Curry, Pastor, with Reverend Marcia Turner, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Please follow the CDC guide- lines and the family is request- ing that all in attendance wear masks.
Mr. Denzel J. Simmons was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. Denzel J. Sim- mons, affectionately known as ‘Monsta,’ was born to Anna Howard and John Simmons. Denzel attended local public schools in the Hillsborough County area and eventually earned his GED from high school. He was employed at Ripa & Associates, as a pipe layer.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Anna Howard; great grandparents, Leola Simmons, Alton Perry and Mable Perry;
grandparents, Simuel, Sr. and Inez Howard and Eugene Sim- mons; uncles, Ray Howard, God Lucky Howard, Ronald Sim- mons and William Howard, Sr.; great uncle, John Simmons; great aunts, Lorraine Simmons, Elizabeth Simmons, Lear Noble, Alton Elaine Perry Smith (and her husband and two children); and cousin, Keith Smalls Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: grandparents, Lillian Simmons Braddy (Julius); chil- dren, Denzel, Jr., and Cashimyere and their mother; father, John Simmons (and spe- cial friend); siblings, Rico Sim- mons, Santonio ‘Marquis’ Simmons, John Simmons, Jr., Tiara Simmons (fiancé ‘Allisia), Deandre’ Lopez Simmons and Desmond Simmons; aunts and uncles, Charlotte Simmons, Gail Braddy, Veronica Pascoe (hus- band, Michael), Sheila Braddy, Sharon Braddy-Mitchner, Cheyenne ‘Anne’ Howard, Simuel Jean Howard, Cookie White, Margaret Howard, Va- lerie Johnson-Thornton, Linda Wright, Raymond Howard (wife, Barbara), Simuel Howard, Jr. and Edward James Howard; and a host of other rel- atives too numerous to name to include great-aunts, great-un- cles and cousins from the Howard and Simmons families. Special fond memories are left with the Central Park, Tampa Park and 29th Street communi- ties and special thanks to Adrian Howard and William Johnson, Jr.
The remains will repose from 3-7 p. m., Thursday, June 11, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guide- lines. Arrangements en- trusted to RAY WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
MRS. HELEN E. HAYWOOD HAWKINS
A Private Celebration Serv- ice will be held for Mrs. Helen E. Haywood Hawkins whose sunset was on June 7, 2020.
Mrs. Helen Hawkins was a native of Tampa, Florida, and was born on August 20, 1946 to the parentage of David and Lula Haywood. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, FL. Helen was a devoted employee of GTE for over 30 years as well as the Tampa Women’s Center. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, Tampa, FL.
Mrs. Helen E. Hawkins was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Hawkins; her mother and fa- ther, David and Lula Haywood; her sister, Kay Haywood; her brothers, Paul and Kenneth Haywood, all of Tampa.
