Authorities Catch 3, Including A UPS Worker, In Florida Based Porch Piracy Scheme
Time is up for three people caught running a porch piracy scam in Florida that included a UPS worker, authorities say.
Seminole County Sheriff’s deputies say the trio were ar- rested Thursday after devising a scheme to steal packages de- livered at homes near Old Lake Mary, Florida.
The scam was executed when Okoye Manley, a sea- sonal worker for UPS, would deliver packages and then text the addresses of deliveries to conspirators Tanjinika Wright and Dekeria
Wright and let them know if anybody was home.
The Wrights would then
follow behind the UPS truck and take the packages from the porches of unoccupied homes.
On this past Thursday, Manley, 28, was captured on surveillance video delivering a package to a home. About eight minutes later, Tanjinika Wright, 31, got out of a car and stole a package with Dek- eria Wright, 26, acting as the getaway driver.
The trio were eventually caught and are currently being held in jail facing multiple felony charges, including bur- glary of an occupied structure.
The ongoing saga of Ken- neka Jenkins, who was found dead in a suburban Chicago hotel freezer last year, continues as her family has filed a lawsuit seeking for $50 million in damages.
The much-anticipated suit filed Friday in Chicago ac- cuses the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel, a se- curity company, and a restau- rant for negligence for failing to secure a freezer in an un- used kitchen, and for not conducting a proper search when she went missing from a party, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The 19-year-old Jenkins disappeared on Sept. 9, 2017, after attending a party in the hotel.
Her family went looking for her, but authorities didn’t find Jenkins’ body until some 20 hours later. Surveil- lance video released by police showed Jenkins stumbling through the hallways until she ended up in the kitchen freezer.
Relatives, friends, and others nationwide ques- tioned whether Jenkins was the victim of foul play, but the
coroner said her death from hypothermia was an acci- dent.
The lawsuit filed by Jenk- ins’ family claims that she passed several hotel employ- ees while she was wandering the hallways.
“Had Crowne Plaza defen- dants and employees and/or agents of defendant Capital Security properly intervened when they observed Jenkins visibly disoriented, confused and lost within their prem- ises, they would have pre- vented her from entering the abandoned kitchen and pre- vented her death,” the suit said.
The lawsuit blames the se- curity company for failing to stop the party Jenkins at- tended before wandering away. Dozens of people were hanging out in a room meant for just four guests, a smoke detector had been disabled and the odor of “strong in- toxicants” was evident, the suit claims.
And, if security guards had broken up the party in a prompt manner, Jenkins would not have died, the suit said.
Is Prada Stirring Racism Charges By Featuring ‘Sambo’ Figurines
Prada has released some very questionable items as of late and we aren’t sure what they were thinking.
We’re referring the super bad (as in not very well thought out) move the world- renown Upper Manhattan shop made by showcasing the purse above in its window with a Sambo-like doll attached.
Now Prada, what are you thinking?
As TMZ points out, people went nuts on social media once the image was posted. Some felt it resembled a Sambo fig- ure ... others say it resembled a monkey and some felt it was a cross between the two.
Here’s more from TMZ: It’s pretty incredible that the folks at Prada were this tone-deaf
PRADA ITEMS
because it’s hard to imagine how they didn’t see the wave of criticism that would befall them.
The company issued a state-
ment Friday saying it “abhors racist imagery.” It went on to say the figure was meant as “fantasy charms.” It’s clearly a bad fantasy.
Laurence Fishburne At Center Of Messy Affair With Minister’s Wife
Laurence Fishburne is reportedly at the center of a very intriguing affair with galpal Bronwyn Anne Moylan, 44 and her 81-year- old husband, Rev. Richard Dannenfelser.
According to RadarOn- line, Bronwyn has been cheating on her hubby for years, and she and Lau- rence made their first ap- pearance together at the Marrakech International Film Festival earlier this month.
“At least take care of me if you’re going to steal my wife!” Rev. Dannenfelser reportedly told his family. He and Bronwyn have been married for 15 years.
Their divorce has yet to be finalized, and she has al-

legedly made clear her inten- tions of getting what’s hers fi- nancially, according to sources.
“He’s put his whole life into helping other people,” a family member told Radar. “He’s a man of the cloth, now he needs a little help back.”
Bronwyn met Fish- burne decades ago at an act- ing class and they recently reconnected. The 57-year-old “Matrix” star split from wife Gina Torres last year,
Sources claim Richard wanted to confront Lau- rence about “stealing” his wife but was ultimately “too chicken” so he had his lawyers make threatening phone calls to the actor.
An insider close to Rich- ard said his wife regrets leav- ing her husband.
“I am on a guilt trip and I’m so worried about him when I leave,” she spilled to our source.
“He can’t even take care of himself — but I love Lau- rence, and I have to do what’s right for me.”
