KAPPA SILHOUETTES RECOGNIZE GWEN MILLER, DONATE BOOKS TO CENTER BEARING HER NAME
The Tampa Chapter of the Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. recognized retired educator and former Tampa City Councilwoman Gwendolyn (Gwen) Miller for her work with the national auxiliary (Immediate Past National President) by do- nating books to the center in East Tampa that bears her name – the Gwendolyn Miller Community Center. The Tampa Silhouettes donated hundreds of books to the center. Book donations came from all over, including textbook publishers in Orlando and from Ft. Washington, Maryland. Among the Silhouettes at the book event were from left: Barbara Jackson, Fontaine Marion, Lucille Morris, Connie Drew, honoree Gwen Miller, Lorraine Offer, Joyce Daniels, President of the Tampa Chapter of the Silhouettes; Barbara Ragin, and Sue McArthur.
