Ban On Outdoor Burning Extended
Church To Visit
Members of the Emer- gency Group Police have ex- tended an emergency order on outdoor burning until at least June 1st. The ban was is- sued at the end of April as a result of dry conditions.
The warm temperatures and dry conditions have re- sulted in numerous wildfires throughout the Tampa Bay
Area.
Under the Executive
Order, the following activities are no longer allowed until further notice:
All outdoor open burning is prohibited. The only excep- tion is burning that has been specifically allowed by the Florida Forest Service.
The ban also prohibits
fireworks and sparklers. Outdoor grilling is al- lowed as long as the flames are contained within a grill or other fireproof container. The fire must be constantly watched and completely ex-
tinguished.
If conditions continue,
the ban can be extended every 7 days.

For the second time, members of the Message of the Cross Church will visit Haiti. Pastor Harrison and First Lady Rachel Smith will lead 4 others on its second visit to Haiti.
The party will visit the country from June 8th until June 13th. During their visit, they will provide assistance to an orphanage they adopted.
But one of the highlights of the trip will be a wedding for several couples. Cur- rently, the members are try- ing to raise “20 Dresses for 20 Brides” for the mass wed- ding. It is planned for June 10th in Port au Prince.
Pastor Harrison is making a special appeal to the community to help with this endeavor. He is asking members of the community to bless the women by pro- viding dresses and gowns for the brides to wear.
“The dresses or gowns must be of formal quality and in excellent condition. Elegant wedding gowns or prom attire will be most ap- preciated. Dresses and gowns of all colors will be ac- cepted (aside from the tradi- tional white), for members of the bridal parties,” he said.
