LeBron James, Athletes React To Joe Biden's Projected Presidential Election
    Be Losing Grip On MVP,
But It's Not All His Fault
LeBron James and other athletes were reacting Saturday after Democratic candidate Joe Biden was widely projected as the win- ner in Pennsylvania to put him above the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the 2020 United States presi- dential election over Republi- can incumbent Donald Trump.
CNN was one of a number of major networks to call the election Saturday.
Biden was projected as the president elect on the fifth day of counting votes after polls closed across the U.S. on Tuesday. Should Biden's vic- tory in Pennsylvania be con- firmed, the former vice president to Barack Obama holds an insurmountable 273-
Paul George Gets Engaged To Girlfriend Daniela Rajic
PAUL GEORGE AND DANIELA RAJIC
Paul George is officially engaged.
The Los Angeles Clippers forward got engaged to his girlfriend Daniela Rajic on Friday. The two shared some photos on their Instagram Sto- ries of the proposal.
Based on Rajic’s Insta- gram, George and Rajic headed to Mexico on a private plane for a vacation. Upon ar- riving, Rajic appeared to be surprised that a few of her friends were also there.
George proposed with some flower pedals spread around the outdoor deck and floor. A Mariachi band was around to play music as part of the celebration.
Paul and Rajic have been involved since at least 2014, which is when she served him with a paternity suit. The two have two children together.
When the Seattle Sea- hawks won a Super Bowl, Russell Wilson was a young quarterback who was- n’t asked to do it all. Seattle’s defense was good enough to win plenty of games without much help.
Wilson isn’t young any- more, and the Seahawks have changed, in large part due to Wilson’s contract. The Sea- hawks don’t have much of a defense anymore, and need Wilson to play perfect foot- ball for them to win.
It’s a testament to Wil- son that he often does play perfect football. He’s the main reason Seattle was 6-1 before Sunday. That’s a hard way to live in the NFL.
Sunday was an example of the Seahawks’ shortcomings. The Bills absolutely shredded a bad Seahawks defense in a 44-34 win. The Bills’ offense scored five touchdowns and three field goals, missed a field goal and punted just twice on its first 11 posses- sions. Josh Allen had more than 400 yards passing and also ran for a score. The Bills

looked great, but a lot of that was due to the competition. Everyone looks good against the Seahawks defense this season.
A couple weeks ago Wil- son was the runaway fa- vorite to win MVP, and he still could win it, but if the Seahawks start to lose games voters will move on to other fun stories. Even if it’s not all his fault.
Wilson wasn’t perfect Sunday, or even close to it. He threw a bad interception into the end zone. He lost a fumble. He still made plays, but he has no margin for error because Seattle hasn’t done enough to put a better roster around him.
LEBRON JAMES, KAMALA HARRIS AND JOE BIDEN
Devin Booker Does Not Actually Want Out Of Phoenix
214 lead with Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina still uncalled, per Decision Desk HQ.
Here's a look at reaction to the result from around the sports world:
LeBron James: ‘Let’s go!!!!! Black voters came through...again. Be proud as hell but do not stop! We must stay organized and keep working. We just tipping off. I promise you I’m here for y’all throughout!
Joel “Troel” Embiid: Well America TRUSTED THE PROCESS and it paid off #TheProcess
Trump quickly became a polarizing figure among ath- letes after he was elected in 2016, in particular after he staunchly opposed players taking a knee during the na- tional anthem in protest
against social injustice and racial inequality.
His most common target in recent years was James, an outspoken critic of the president who joined other sports stars to create the More Than A Vote campaign. Trump called him "nasty" and a "hater" during an Octo- ber appearance on The Rush Limbaugh Show.
Trump's words and ac- tions led several teams to skip the traditional White House visit after winning a champi- onship over the past four years, while others continued the trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue but saw individual players opt out.
Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States on Jan. 20. Ka- mala Harris will serve as his vice president.
Devin Booker’s alleged discontent in Phoenix may ultimately be overblown.
Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported on Fri- day that there is “no truth” to the Suns guard supposedly wanting out. Scotto notes that several executives be- lieve that Booker will stay put due to his contract situa- tion and his talent as a young franchise cornerstone.
John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Phoenix also strongly dis- agreed with the notion that Booker wants a trade, call- ing the rumor “garbage.”
Whispers emerged this week that Booker, 24, was unhappy in Phoenix and even that the situation might get ugly. But he has a whopping four years and $131 million left on his contract, making a trade all but impossible. The

Suns are also trending up- wards, having gone unde- feated in the Orlando bubble and complementing Booker with quality young pieces like Deandre Ayton and Kelly Oubre.
Booker is an All-Star who averaged 26.6 points per game last season. Thus, the vultures will obviously be cir- cling at the very first sign of trouble, even in the form of fellow NBA players. It does not appear though that there is any actual trouble here to worry about.
