FAMILY NOTICE
MS. BRENDA MERVIN
Memorial Service for Ms. Brenda Mervin will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, 3- 5 p. m. at Cremations of Greater Tampa Bay, 110 N. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33609.
Ms. Mervin was born on Oc- tober 11, 1956, in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
She worked in the health- care field for 20 years, then vol- unteered with Seniors in Services at Sheehy Elementary School.
Brenda was a member of The River at Tampa Bay Church. She was faithfully com- mitterd to the Lord and was de- voted to her family until she answered His call on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
She leaves to mourn: three children, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, seven sisters, three brothers; a host of nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews and friends.

 Armed Robbery
Suspect Gets
24 Years In
Prison
 A 30-
year-old man
was sen-
tenced to
more than 2
decades in
federal prison
last week. He
was charged
with bran-
dishing and
discharging a firearm during the course of several rob- beries.
According to court records, Judge Mary Scriven sentenced Terrian J. Knight to 24 years in prison. The court also ordered Knight to forfeit the firearm used in the crimes.
From January 14, 2019 to July 26, 2019, Knight al- legedly committed four armed robberies at stores in St. Pe- tersburg. He attempted to rob the assistant manager of a Family Dollar, Knight re- portedly shot the man before fleeing the scene.
He was arrested 7 hours later after hiding in a reten- tion pond on July 30, 2019. The firearm used in the crime was recovered.
