7 Others Hurt In
2nd Man Arrested In Fatal Parking Lot Shooting
Park Shooting
Nuccio Park was the scene of a shooting that left 1 man dead and 7 others injured Tuesday night.
The individuals responsible for the shooting arrived at the park in this 2008 Infiniti, silver in color with dark tinted win- dows. The car was reported stolen November 5th.
Detectives are investigat- ing a shooting that has re- sulted in the death of one person and injury of several others. The incident took place around 8 p.m., near N. 50th Street and E. Sligh Av- enue.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, several 9-1-1 calls were re- ceived by dispatchers in ref- erence to gunfire erupting. When deputies arrived at the basketball court in Nuccio Park, they discovered several people had been hit by gun- fire.
One victim, an unidenti- fied 36-year-old Black man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. Two other gunshot victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Five other individuals who were shot were listed as being in stable

Raphael Adger died on May 25th, after being shot three times. The shooting took place in the Del Rio Apartments in the 5000 block of E. Sligh Avenue, around 9:30 p.m.
When Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the scene, they found Adger suffering from gunshot wounds.

result of his injuries.
In July, deputies arrested
27-year-old Rakim Harris and charged him with first- degree murder. Earlier this week, they arrested 34-year- old Dominique Brown, in connection with the murder.
Brown has been charged with being an accessory after the fact, first-degree murder with a firearm and tamper- ing with physical evidence.

pended license. Both of those charges are related to the murder, police said.
Rakeem Harris was charged with first-degree murder. He was arrested on July 2nd on violation charges and was held without bond.
Detectives believe that a traffic accident that took place near the scene is con- nected with the murder. The occupants of the dark blue Nissan Sentra fled the scene before police arrived.
The investigation is con- tinuing as police search for the third man believed to be involved in the murder.

Detectives spoke with wit- nesses to the shooting and said they believe a group of people, traveling in a 2008 silver Infiniti with tinted win- dows came to the park. The individuals fired several rounds into the crowd around the basketball court, hitting 8 of them. The suspects then fled the scene.
Detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act and the group was tar- geted.
The vehicle the suspects were riding in had been re- ported stolen on November 5, 2020.

Tampa Police are investi- gating a shooting that left a man injured. It took place shortly before 5:30 p.m., Tues- day.
According to police, the unidentified victim told police that he was traveling west- bound on E. Hillsborough Av- enue. For unknown reasons, unidentified suspects fired several shots at his vehicle, striking him at least two times. The victim turned northbound on N. 43rd Street then travelled to E. Hanna Avenue. When he reached that location, he sought help.
The man was transported to a local hospital. His condi- tion was not known at press time.
Detectives investigating the shooting said the man’s car had been hit several times by gunfire from at least two dif- ferent calibers.
The investigation is contin- uing.
