13th Annual Thanksgiving Feast Planned
Rev. Dames Honored At Pathfinder District Awards Luncheon
The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, recognized Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Jr., Pastor of Allen Temple AME Church. He received the District Award Of Merit.
The 2020 Pathfinder District Awards Luncheon was held on Tuesday, No- vember 17, 2020, at the Tampa Club.
The Pathfinder District provides Scouting programs to underserved youth in the Tampa Bay area. The event also recognized outstanding volunteers and celebrated

the successes experienced this year.

On Saturday, November 21st, East Tampa Business & Civic Association (ETBCA) in partnership with the Hills- borough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will host its 13th An- nual Thanksgiving food give- away. But, unlike past years, this event is being offered as a drive-through giveaway.
This year the event will be held at the New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, 33605, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. (corner of N. 25th Street and E. Columbus Drive).

said, “This year will be differ- ent instead of a sit-down din- ner feast, we will hold a drive-thru feast. We will pro- vide a dinner for everyone in your family with a box of groceries and clothing.
“We will also provide 500
turkeys with all of the trim- mings for a full Thanksgiving meal. We realize that many in our communities are ex- periencing some difficult times due to COVID-19 Pan- demic. ETBCA is inviting any and everyone with a need for food and gently used cloth- ing to please come out and join us.”
Some of the sponsors in- clude: Metro Health, the BOCC, New Mt. Zion M. B. Church, Health Matters Pharmacy, and many others.
Ms. Hart said this is a first-come, first served event and the line will take place on E. Columbus Drive, east- bound.
