Frank And Ernestine Odom Hymn-O-Rama Planned
The Odom Family and the Mount Olive AME Church present the 27th Annual Frank and Ernestine Odom Hymn-O-Rama in honor of their parents.
The affair will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2015, 4 p. m. in the sanctuary of Mt. Olive AME Church, 1902 W. LaSalle St. (West Tampa).
The singing of hymns was a favorite of Mr. and Mrs. Odom. Singers from over the city are invited to sing their favorite hymns with the history of each hymn given by a narrator.
The Odom Family Singers will close out the program with a tribute to their parents. The public is invited to attend this free event.

Lord, help me to hide Your Word in my heart so I will see clearly and not sin against You in any way (Psalm 119:11). Thank You, Lord, that You are near to all who call upon You, and You will fulfill the desire of those who fear You. Thank You that You hear my cries and will save me from any weak- ness that could lead me away from all You have for me (Psalm 145:18-19). Thank You that You know how to deliver the godly out of temptations (2 Peter 2:9). Thank You that You will deliver me out of all temptation and keep it far from me.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 CORINTHIANS 10:13
Me To Resist The Temptation To Sin
Lord, do not allow me to be led into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one and his plans for my downfall. In the name of Jesus, I break any hold temptation has on me. Keep me strong and able to resist anything that would tempt me away from all You have for me.
