Bobby Shmurda Could Get One Of His Sentences Reduce
BOBBY SHMURDA
Bobby Shmurda is doing time for multiple charges, but one of his sentences may get reduced.
Bobby Shmurda is al- ready serving seven years for conspiracy charges, but while he was behind bars awaiting trial, he racked up a separate contraband charge. In 2015 his girlfriend allegedly at- tempted to sneak a shank to him during a visit to Rikers Is- land.
According to reports, the woman was carrying a sharp object in a black latex glove that she attempted to pass to him. The guards caught them in the act and confiscated the sharp object.
The rapper, born Ackquille Jean Pollard, went before a judge last week to face the charges which could get him another seven-year sentence. However, prosecutors are of- fering a plea deal which could narrow the sentence down to four years that will run con- currently with the sentence he is already serving.
Supreme Court Sides With Samsung Over Apple
SAMSUNG
Just days after being re- leased from the hospital for succumbing to the Kar- dashian Kurse (likely), Kanye West is back in the studio and apparently it’s with none other than Hip- Hop legend and Lil Yachty antagonist Pete Rock. The Chocolate Boy Wonder posted a few clips of himself in the studio cooking up some
meth with the caption “play- ing 45s in da lab with Kanye West.”
Fans then noticed a list that was laying down on the board that contained videogame themed titles and immedi- ately began to speculate that it was the tracklisting for the highly anticipated Turbo Grafx 16 album.
The Supreme Court has taken Samsung’s side in a legal battle with Apple over patents. All eight Supreme Court justices agreed to undo an appeals court ruling that Samsung owed $399 million to Apple for stealing iPhone designs.
In the Court’s explanation of the decision, written by Sonia Sotomayor, it was argued that when a patent is violated in the making of a product the violator does not have to forfeit the entire prof-
its for the sales of the product unless the entire product is in violation of patents. As Sam- sung was found to have used only a few of Apple’s designs, they’ll likely pay less than the $399 million decided by an appeals court. The case will continue in lower courts to hash out the amount the com- pany owes. Samsung has told Reuters that the landmark decision is a “victory for Sam- sung and for all those who promote creativity, innova- tion and fair competition in the marketplace.”
Jim Jones And Dipset Talking New Music?
Despite the public back- and-forth with Cam’ron, Jim Jones still wants to see The Diplomats get together for another album.
Jones sat down with DJ Whoo Kid, and the conver- sation included the “We Fly High” rapper discussing the future of Dipset.
“I would love to do a Diplo- mat album. That’s just me thinking about what I would like to see happen,” said Capo.
He added, “A lot of fans want that. Let’s just hope, by the grace of God, we can get it done before our time of being still cool is over.”
Jones dropped his last solo

Remy Ma Rejoices In Being Only Female Rapper Nominated For Grammy
Remy Ma is climbing ‘All The Way Up’ the ladder of success.
J. Cole And Wale Reveal They Are New Dads
For Remy Ma, the Love & Hip Hop: New York star’s re- cent Grammy Award nod for “All the Way Up” featuring Fat Joe and French Mon- tana was a hard earned vic- tory for the Terror Squad staple. After serving six years in prison for assault, weapons possession and attempted co- ercion, her rap comeback has been nothing short of mirac- ulous. With her husband, Pa- poose, diligently by her side, she’s been able to put the
pieces of her life back to- gether.
When the 59th Annual Grammy Award nominations were revealed on Tuesday (December 6), Remy Ma ended up being the only fe- male rapper nominated, with “All the Way Up” having a chance to win Best Rap Per- formance and Best Rap Song. She immediately took to In- stagram to voice her feelings on the announcement.
Just a few days ago rap fans were pitting J. Cole and Wale against each other. This week we’re celebrating them for fa- therhood.
Both J. Cole and Wale made some big reveals in their new journeys in fatherhood. Cole’s news of being a new dad slipped out much like the news of him getting married did, not from his own mouth. An iTunes review of his new album 4 Your Eyez Only which is set to drop on Friday re- vealed the inspiration behind two tracks on the album, “She’s Mine” parts one and two.
