Police Seek Help In Solving Murder
Man Arrested In Home
Auto Theft Probe Leads Police To Gun Stolen In Gun Shop Burglary
Early Last Wednesday morning, after receiving a “Shot Spotter” Activation, deputies responded to the Re- vere Landing Apartment com- plex in North Tampa. After arriving at the intersection of N. 15th Street and Gragston Circle, deputies discovered Antonio Lamar Bradshaw lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Bradshaw, 34, had been shot several times. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking information to solve Bradshaw’s murder. They are asking anyone in the com- munity with information to contact them.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for in- formation leading to an arrest in this murder.

Police had issued a warrant for 22-year-old AJ Bernard Whaley, of Tampa. He is cur- rently being held without bond.
Whaley was charged with four counts of false imprison- ment, four counts of robbery with a firearm and possession of cocaine.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, three men forcibly entered an apartment at 6903 Society Drive around 10 p.m., on No- vember 4th. Once inside, the suspects forced the four peo- ple inside the apartment at gunpoint to sit in the living room while they ransacked the entire apartment, police said. The suspects, who were all armed with handguns, fled the scene with several cell phones and cash.

Two teenagers were taken into custody in Polk County Sunday. They were both linked to crimes that took place in Or- ange County and Hillsborough Counties as well.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 1 p.m., Saturday, a man parked his 2013 Dodge Charger at a convenience store at 2600 Havendale Blvd. The victim left the engine running and the windows down.
Two Black men walked out of the store, got into the vehi- cle and fled the scene. They left a Nissan Murano that had been reported stolen to police the Winter Garden behind.
Deputies learned that the two men had been at a Winter Haven Apartment complex be- fore arriving at the conven- ience store.
Detectives also learned that active warrants had been is- sued for both of the men for the murder of 27-year-old Kendra Lewis. She was shot in the face in front of her 5- year-old child and died as a re- sult of her injuries. The shooting took place on Wednesday, December 7th, police said.
Orange County law enforce- ment had issued the warrants for 16-year-old Jayvon Joachin, and 17-year-old De- shawn Miller, both of Or- lando.
After becoming aware of the homicide in Orange County, deputies activated additional law enforcement including Air Service and the K-9 Units.
The stolen Charger was ob- served on I-4 traveling west, shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday. Stop Sticks were placed on the roadway in the area of High- way 557. The suspects hit the sticks and ultimately crashed the Charger into a ditch. They were both taken into custody.

break windows during the theft or burglary of a car.
Jail records show that he has been charged with 7 felonies and 2 misdemeanors. How- ever, he has not been con- victed on any of the charges.
After his arrest on Satur- day, he was charged with flee- ing to elude, possession of burglary tools, having no valid driver’s license, armed bur- glary of a convenience, and grand theft of a motor vehicle. He also had the active warrant for murder.
Deshawn Miller was charged with fleeing to elude, possession of burglary tools, having no valid driver’s li- cense, armed burglary of a convenience, and grand theft of a motor vehicle. He also had the active warrant for murder.
Police further said that when searching Miller, they discov- ered a handgun in his posses- sion. Police said that handgun had been stolen from a gun shop in Hillsborough County on November 29th.
After being arrested, both were transferred to Heart of Florida Hospital for a medical evaluation. They were then transported to the Juvenile As- sessment Center.
After being placed under ar- rest, police said Joachin con- fessed to the homicide and stealing the Charger from the convenience store.
Police Arrest Man In
SoHo Robbery And
Kidnapping Of Woman
Detectives have arrested a man they believe is responsi- ble for kidnapping and rob- bing a woman in the SoHo area of town. He was arrested last Friday in East Tampa.
Johnathan Troy Rogers, 32, is currently being held at the Hillsbor- ough County Jail. He was charged with felony kidnap- ping and robbery. A bond of $500,000 was set for each charge. Rogers is also being held on two counts of video voyeurism. He has no bond on those charges.
According to Tampa Police, during the early morning hours of December 3rd, an unidentified woman was re- turning to her vehicle in the 900 block of S. Howard Av- enue. She had been socializ- ing with friends, but was alone when she went to her car, which was parked in the 900 block of S. Howard Av- enue.
An unidentified man came up behind her, and struck her in the back of the head, knocking her unconscious. He then picked up the victim and placed her in her own ve- hicle and drove away with her.
After a short time, and at an undisclosed location, the man

took the woman’s valuables and left her in the car. She re- ported the incident to police in the afternoon of December 4th, police said.
She suffered abrasions and contusions as a result of the attack.
Police obtained video of the attack and launched an inves- tigation.
Rogers was arrested Fri- day evening at the intersec- tion of Caracas and N. 34th Street. The investigation into the case is continuing.
