PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT INVITATION TO BID
The SCHOOL BOARD OF HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Florida, seeks sealed bids from qualified bidders for Fire Alarm Replacements at 7 Sites. Project scope provides for the replacement of the entire existing fire alarm systems at seven schools in Hillsborough County, Florida, with an estimated total project cost between $1,280,000 and $1,920,000.
Qualified firms can submit bids to the Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Procurement Department on the 3rd Floor of the Raymond O. Shelton School Administrative Center (ROSSAC), 901 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33602, until bid opening at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2015.
HCPS will host a non-mandatory pre-bid conference for all sites at Schwarzkopf Elementary School, 18333 Calusa Trace Boulevard, Lutz, Florida 33549 at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015. Subsequently, prospective bidders will be afforded an opportunity for site visits at the dates and times indicated in the bid documents. Attendees must sign in and present a photo ID to gain access to the conference and site visits.
The bid documents include specific bid submittal requirements and identify specific requirements for bid security, surety bonds, and insurance. The successful bidder must provide evidence of required insurance prior to proceeding with the work. HCPS maintains general requirements applicable to all construction-related bids on the HCPS web site.
Bidders are subject to the HCPS Small Business Encouragement Program, as described in the bid documents.
Bidders may obtain a complete set of bid documents in PDF format via HCPS Vendor Bid system at http://www.vendorbid.net/hillsborough.
HCPS reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest and/or best responsible bidder, to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid, or to reject any and all bids received.

As a result of being unable to effectuate certified mail notice to violators of the City Code, notice is hereby given that a Tampa Municipal Code Enforcement Hearing Master has scheduled a public hearing on March 11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to hear the below listed cases. Which are in violation of the City of Tampa Code Information listed below describes the case number, property owner(s), violation address, code section violated, and legal description of subject property in that order. The hearing will be held in City Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 315 E. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, Florida. Affected property owners will be given the opportunity to discuss the alleged violations. Should anyone have any questions regarding these cases, please call the Office of the City Clerk at (813) 274-7286.
Please note that if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Hearing Master with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or hearing, they will need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
