Mrs. Obama Reveals What Happened The Last Night In White House: ‘A Sleepover’
President Trump Still Working GOP To Repeal Obamacare
According to CNN, GOP Reps. Fred Upton and Billy Long announced Wednesday after meeting with President Donald Trump that they will now support the Republi- can plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, key endorse- ments for a legislation that has been teetering on the brink of collapse this week.
Republican leaders have been trying without success for weeks to revive a health care bill that was pulled from the House floor in March.
Upton and Long proposed a last-minute amendment to the GOP bill that would beef up the funding for so-called "high risk pools." Upton said at the White House that the
House Rules Committee may consider the bill and key amendments on Thursday.
But the situation remains extremely fluid.
The future of the bill "as uncertain as we've seen it," a Republican involved in the health care talks said.
Around the same time that Upton and Long unveiled their moves to "yes," their col- league, Rep. Carlos Curbelo of Florida, declared on Twitter that he opposed the bill.
Malia, Sasha and Michelle Obama.
While speaking at the an- nual American Institute of Architecture conference, last week, former first lady, Michelle Obama revealed how Sasha, 15, and Malia, 18, spent their last night in the White House.
"They had a sleepover, be- cause of course on Inaugura- tion Day, because my girls are so normal, they're like, 'Well, eight girls are gonna be sleep- ing here because it's our last time, and we want pizza and we want nuggets.' And it's like, really?" Michelle Obama said.
The former first lady added how difficult it was for the girls to leave their home of eight years.
"So that moment of transi-
tion, right before the doors opened and we welcomed in the new family, our kids were leaving out the back door in tears, saying goodbye to peo- ple," Obama said.
During her time in the White House, Michelle Obama hoped to leave a last- ing impression on this coun- try and the world. However, the Trump administration announced it's ending Michelle Obama’s legacy girl’s education initiative, “Let Girls Learn,” according to of- ficials.
"Moving forward, we will not continue to use the 'Let Girls Learn' brand or main- tain a stand-alone program," read an email sent to Peace Corps employees this week, reported CNN.
New Gallup Poll Is Worst One Yet For President Trump
A new Gallup poll on Tues- day showed just 40% of people said President Trump has made progress after 100 days when it comes to changing the way Washington works; 54% said he hasn’t.
This finding echoes — and is slightly worse than — a Fox News poll last week, which showed 43 percent believe he is bringing real change to Washington, versus 50 percent who say he’s not.
These numbers are a far cry from where we were after Trump’s election.
In December, an NBC
News/Wall Street Journal poll showed 68 percent thought Trump would change the way business is conducted in Wash- ington. Just a couple days
prior, a CBS News poll put the number at 62 percent. Even many people who didn’t vote for Trump clearly thought he could deliver on change.
Rogue FBI Translator Marries ISIS Member She Was Investigating
An FBI translator who was assigned to investigate a bloodthirsty ISIS terrorist wound up falling head-over- heels in love with the man — and married him instead, a re- port says.
Daniela Greene, 38, was apparently so lovestruck by the German-born jihadist that she left her husband in the U. S. to be with him in war-torn Syria, and then lied to the feds about her whereabouts, ac- cording to CNN.
Denis Cuspert — a wannabe rapper-turned-ISIS pitchman — reportedly be- came the apple of her eye sometime in 2014, despite having a notorious penchant for violence.

vagery in countless execution videos, some of which show him holding severed heads, CNN reports.
Roughly three years after joining the FBI as a linguist, Greene was assigned to the Detroit bureau in January 2014 and asked to probe Cus- pert.
By June, she was already
smitten with the tatted-up ter- rorist and making plans to be with him in the Middle East. They reportedly tied the knot in Syria sometime that month.
Greene eventually got cold feet, though, and decided to come back to the U. S. in Au- gust 2014. She was immedi- ately arrested upon her return.
FBI Director Defends Decision To Reopen Hillary Clinton Email Issue During Campaign
FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday offered his most forceful defense yet of his highly controversial deci- sion to disclose the reopening of the Hillary Clinton email investigation 11 days before last fall's presidential election.
Testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Comey said he faced an agonizing choice at the time about whether to sit on the poten- tially momentous development or whether to share it with Congress. He chose to tell Con- gress — a move which many Democrats and political ana-
lysts believe delivered the White House to Donald Trump.
"This was terrible. It made me mildly nauseous to think that we might have had some impact on the election, but honestly, it wouldn't change the decision," Comey said.
"We honestly made a deci- sion between those two, those two choices, that even in hind- sight — and this has been one of the world's most painful ex- periences — I would make the same decision. I would not con- ceal that, on Oct. 28, from the Congress.
