MRS. SALLY C. LEWIS
A Homegoing Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Sally C. Lewis, who departed this life to rest in God’s eternal hands, will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 11 a. m. at Westside Community Seventh-Day Ad- ventist Church, 1803 E. Shad- owlawn Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Byron Well, Eu- logist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
Mrs. Sally C. Lewis was born January 17, 1930 in Griffin, GA, to the parentage of the late Arthur Randolph and Odessa King. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a de- voted Member and Deaconess at Mount Calvary and later West- side SDA Church for over thirty years. Her passion in life was gardening and decorating. She was married to the late James Arthur Lewis for 60 years and eight children were added to their union: Lula, James Jr., Diane, Annette, Audrey, Rose, Elbert and Jerome.
Mrs. Sally C. Lewis was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by the following loved ones: par- ents, Arthur Randolph and Odessa King; husband, James Arthur Lewis; and two children, James Lewis and Diane House.
Mrs. Lewis leaves the follow- ing loved ones to cherish mem- ories of her: six children, Lula Jones, Annette Bolton, Audrey Acosta, Rose Freeman, Elbert Lewis and Jerome Lewis; brother, Arthur Randolph; ten grandchildren, Morris, Regi- nald, Samantha, Eric, Ray- mond, Jr., Zandria, Aldreya, Cierra, Kayla and little Audrey; and a host of great grandchil- dren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday at 10:45 a. m. for the service.

Algernon Butler, Jr. passed on Feb. 20, 2018. Service arrangements are entrusted to Brandon Funeral Home and will be held 3/3/2018.
A 38-year-old woman died last Friday as a result of a traf- fic accident. The accident took place on U. S. Highway 301 and Southern Pointe Blvd., shortly after 4 p.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ms. Melanie Hoitt, of Riverview, was driving a 2010 Nissan Al- tima northbound on U. S. Highway 301. Ms. Isabel Saenz, 18, of Riverview, was driving a 2009 Dodge Charger, and was traveling southbound on U. S. Highway 301.
As the two vehicles ap- proached Southern Pointe Blvd., Ms. Hoitt is said to have turned into the path of Ms. Saenz. Upon impact, Ms. Hoitt’s vehicle over- turned. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Ms. Saenz and her pas- senger, Ms. Siera Calderon, 18, also of Riverview, received minor in- juries. No charges are ex- pected to be filed in the case.
