   AIKENS
      MR. KENNETH E. BUIE
A Homegoing Celebration for Kenneth Elwood Buie of Tampa, Florida, who passed away, Sun- day, January 31, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Pastor S. Evan Burrows with Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kenneth was born in Tampa, Florida, on September 1, 2003. He attended the schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill. He enjoyed playing football, rapping, playing pool and domi- nos. He was also talented and loved to draw.
He was preceded in death by: his great grandfather and grand- mother Ruby and Ernest, Sr. Lockly; great grandfather, Roo- sevelt Tarver; great uncle, Ed- ward Tarver; grandmother, Mary Ann Bellinger, and Jeremy” Red Man;” great, great grandmother, Bae Honey.
He will be missed by: his lov- ing family, great grandmother, Elouise Tarver; mother, Dorcas Lockly; stepfather, Reginald Nel- son, Jr.; sister, Jah’nyah Mills; brothers, Reginald Nelson, III, Robert Kellem, III, and dad, Robert Kellum; grandmother, Rose Lockly and James Baker; grandfather, Ernest Lockly and Steffani Lockly; great aunts, Reba Tarver, Marilyn, Carolyn, and Annie Lockly; great uncles, An- thony Tarver and Andy Lockly; aunts, Zambria (John) Tarver, Sierra Tyson, Karrissa House, and Bella Proto; uncles, Roosevelt Lockly, Ernest Lockly, III, (EJ) and Preston Tyson (PJ); cousins, Teka Davis, Stacey Lockly, Corey and Freddie Judge, Tremayne Coonce, Azaria Tarver, Asani and Dillion Brooks, Zamaria, Phillip, Jr., Knowledge and Carter Shuler, Cardell Shuler, Elton Campbell, Robert Daniels, Sharita Wilson and family, Vantanna Tarver and Madio, Phillip Shuler, Pernell Shuler, Marlon Tarver, Jovita Smart and family, Mary and Gary Smart, Jamaal Black and family, Darlene Palmer and family, Janet Smith and Wilson family, Kay Crum and family, Twila Lowman and family, Gregory Black and family, Clayton Black and family, Barbara Gene Tibbs and family, Denise Black, Antonio Keaton and family, and many more close friends and family who loved and enjoyed his presence.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th, from 5 to 6 p.m. The invited family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. MATHEW GILGHREST, JR.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Mathew Gilghrest, Jr., “Mack Daddy,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, Jan- uary 27, 2021, will be held on Sat- urday, February 6th, at 11:00 a.m., at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea St, Tampa, Florida, Min. Ruben Stokes, offi- ciating. The interment will follow.
Mathew Gilghrest, Jr., was born on September 16, 1937, to the late Mathew Gilghrest, Sr., and Annie Mae Dyce, in Metter, Georgia. He was of Baptist Chris- tian faith.
Mathew was a gentle, loving and giving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He had a “BIG” heart and would help anyone in need. He loved to work and fish. He also loved visiting his favorite store daily to have coffee and so- cialize with his friends. Although he will be missed, he will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Hubert Gilghrest; sister, Annie Will An- derson; son, Darrell Gilghrest and daughter, Roneshia Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Mathew Gilghrest, III, (Quinette), Ceretha Ann Leon, Maxine Booker (Vincent), Lisa Austin (Michael) and Ruben Stokes (Lashay); 11 grandchil- dren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild; brother, Melvin Gilghrest (Emma); special niece, Cleo Thomas; special nephew, Ferman Thomas; special friend, Eddie Williams, and a host of other nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service.

MS. SADIE LEE JACKSON
A Graveside Service for Ms. Sadie Lee Jackson, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sun- day, January 21, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 6th, at 11:00 a.m., at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, Florida, Florida Rev. Michael Neely, offici- ating. The interment will follow.
Sadie Jackson was born on November 13, 1941, to the late Joseph Jackson and Stella Thompson in Tampa, Florida. Sadie was a beloved, selfless mother, granny, great granny, mother-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, friend, servant, and child of God. She was a woman full of love, empathy, and kindness with an overwhelming spirit of servi- tude as she always put the needs of others before her own.
She had the unique ability to make all that came into contact with her feel immediately known and important and she would give her last if that’s what it took to put a smile on a face.
Along with several family members, Sadie is preceded in death by: her beloved daughter, Aretha Michelle George, whom she loved tremendously.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her loving sons, Andrew Corbitt and Charlie George, Jr., (Trevia); stepson, Aubrey D. George; grandchildren, Andre Corbitt, Yomika Corbitt, Devonte George, Eric Moore, Charlise George, Charles George, Chayse George and Charis George; devoted sister-in-law, Charlie Mae Walker; devoted family friend, Alberta Ellison, and a host of other family members and friends.
Sadie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and is mourned by the staff of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa, FL, where she was a member.
The family and close family friends are asked to meet at the graveside, Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, Florida, on Saturday for the service.

MRS. ZEPHERINE PRINGLE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Zepherine Pringle, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 1:00 p.m. at Northside M. B. Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Pas- tor Ricardo Robinson, officiating. The interment will be held in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Zepherine Pringle was born in Parrott, Georgia, on December 22, 1934, to the late Jimmy Parker and Birdie Grier. She attended schools in Tarra County, where she graduated.
She moved to Tampa, Florida, to pursue a career as a beautician. She opened her own beauty salon and was a hairstylist for 30 years.
She met the love of her life, Marin Pringle, Jr., in 1952. They were married October 20, 1956, and to this union they had 5 chil- dren. She began driving school buses for Hillsborough County in 1971, and retired in 1994, after 23 years.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was one of the first founders of Northside Missionary Baptist Church, under the leader- ship of the late Reverend Jacob Jordan. She was a faithful and de- voted member, having served as a trustee, usher, choir member and leader of the kitchen committee. She will be deeply cherish and missed by everyone.
She’ll always be remembered for her affection towards every- one, warm hugs, and love for puz- zle books.
She was preceded in death by: her husband of 55 years, Marin Pringle, Jr.; daughter, Carol; sons, Henry and Marvin; grand- sons, Mark and Antwan.
MS. DARLENE ANITA BECK YOUNG
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Darlene Beck Young passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 1:00 p.m., at Anointed Word Church, 1709 St. Joseph, Pastor Harper, officiating. The Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Darlene Beck Young was a native of Tampa and Miami, Florida. She was educated and at- tended a host of Miami Florida schools.
Ms. Darlene Beck Young was preceded in death by: her parents, James Beck and Claretha Young; daughter, Natalie Beck and brother-in-law, Muhummad Ab- dullas.
Her memory will be cherished by: devoted grands and great- grands, LaEva Beck, Treshawn Williams; her devoted siblings, Deborah Abdullah, Autric Young, Christine Young, Antionette Young, Cynthia Butler, Ester But- ler, Reginald Butler, Cripson, Joyce Christopher, Gloria Smith, Vann Burgess, Danjrial Beck, Che- owanna Beck and Marilyn; god sis- ters, Rachael and Audree; a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
The visitation will be at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The fam- ily and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
