Video Story-Telling Agency Will Cover Some VIP Events During Super Bowl LV
BY GWEN HAYES Sentinel Editor
A video story-telling agency will be one of the com- panies that will cover VIP events leading up to Super Bowl LV.
Getro (Jet) Jean- Claude, owner of Cre- ative114, “is very, very excited to have an opportunity” through the Business Connect to tell the stories of others through video. When inter- viewed, he wasn’t sure what VIPs he’d be working with, but he’s up for the challenge of telling their stories.
Jean-Claude, 31, a na-
tive of Haiti, has been in Tampa since 2017, via Ohio, where he studied at the Uni- versity of Toledo. He came to the U. S. in 2010.
Long before coming to Tampa, Jean-Claude has been busy sharing his video- ing talents with many non- profits. His interest in videoing began at age 14. In Ohio, he worked with an or- ganization providing water purification system and vol- unteered to produce the vi- does for them; and became involved in doing vidoes for the church. He donated any proceeds.
In 2014, he started focus-

ing on the business of video- ing, creating documents. He started getting noticed and
was featured in a few maga- zines.
In 2019, he began solely focusing on emotional story- telling. He continued to grow as a filmmaker, storyteller, and entrepreneur, eventually launching what is now known as Creative114. He is humbled to lead the team in diverse op- portunities to share the unique stories of national and international nonprofits and businesses of all sizes.
Creative114 won a Telly Award last year for a video that was produced for the American Cancer Society.
Known as “Jet,” Jean- Claude says Creative114 has
a lot of meaning. Fourteen (14) days after he arrived in the U. S., the earthquake of 2010 happened; Genesis 1:14 talks about, “And God said let there be light” – “light is the most important factor in videography and telling sto- ries;” and he was 14 years old when he started making vi- does.
Jean-Claude and his wife, Rachel, a physician at BayCare, are the parents to a 19-month-old daughter.
Jean-Claude earned a degree from University of Toledo with a major in Fi- nance and a minor in Ac- counting.
