Everywhere you look, you see a “Now Hiring” or “Help Wanted” signs. You even see opportunities to interview with some companies multiple days of the week. And if hired, the companies are even offering signing bonuses for a new hire’s commitment to work.
The workforce deficit is a plaguing aftershock of the global pandemic. Ac- cording to a June, 2021 article pub- lished by CNBC, “There are about 3.5 million fewer people in the workforce relative to February, 2020.”
Companies and small businesses should consider these strategies to at- tract workers, strong objectives and creativity in the recruitment and reten-
tion of workers. Providing attractive wages and benefit packages, on-the-job training, and community partnerships to raise awareness of opportunities and specialized industries. A major strategy in today’s job market is the use of social media platforms, to advertise and en- gage the younger generation of work- ers. Diversity in the workforce is vital, recruiting in underserved communities would attract those who may not have ever had an interest in a particular ca- reer or technical field.
Let’s Go To Work.
