MR. MALCOLM I. BLACK, SR.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Malcolm I. Black, Sr. will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memo- ries, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610 with a local Pastor, offici- ating. Interment will follow.
Malcolm I. Black, Sr., was born on January 26, 1957, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Mr. Arthur Black and Mrs. Carrie Mae Black.
Mr. Black was a Longshore- man prior to his retirement.
Malcolm was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur and Carrie Black; wife, Katrise Black; and brother, Arthur James Black.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories with: son, Malcolm Black, Jr., (Jasmine); daughter, Latirea Black (Muhammed); grandchil- dren and other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

SISTER DARLENE ROBINSON THOMAS
Funeral services for Sister Darlene Robinson Thomas, who passed away on August 20, 2021, will be held on Saturday, Septem- ber 4, 2021, 1 p. m., at Faith Tem- ple Primitive Baptist Church, 808 W. Washington St., Plant City, FL, Pastor James Griffin, with Rev- erend Maurice D. Wilson, offici- ating. FACE MASKS REQUIRED.
Sister Thomas was born Octo- ber 11, 1956, to the late Druther Robinson, Jr., and the late Rosa Lee Robinson. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Pub- lic Schools, graduating from Plant City High School with the Class of 1974. She went on to marry Herbert Lee Thomas in 1977.
Sister Darlene was a hard worker. She was employed with Discount (Advance) Auto Parts for 15 years. Known as the “Paper Lady,” she was also employed with the Florida Sentinel Bulletin for 37 years. She was a very lov- ing, caring, dedicated person. She worked hard to provide for her family, which she loved being around her, and loved ones and friends.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a very young age. While attending service, she
sang in the choirs at Mt. Olive AME Church, and in recent years she worshipped at New Grace Chapel CME Church and St. Mark Mis- sionary Baptist Church.
Sister Darlene is preceded in death by: both her mother and fa- ther; two sisters, Rosa Mae Robin- son and Carla McBride.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: a loving husband, Herbert Lee Thomas, Lakeland, FL; 4 daughters, Nicole Robinson (Danny), Lakeland, Von-Gretchen Thomas (Maurice), Lakeland, Danielle Thomas-Smith (Marcus), Miami, FL, and Alexis Thomas (Fitzgerald), Lakeland; a son, Jason Robinson, Sr., Tampa; 8 grandchildren, Dominique Robin- son (Jay), Christal Hester, Jason Robinson, Jr., Shymone Lott, Dar- Tavious Robinson, Nyell Lopez, JacQuese and Malaia Lewis; 10 great-grandchildren, Jazzmyne and Antoniyah Rucker, Sereniti Robinson, Brooklyn Griffin, Na’Veah Robinson, Tavaris Sher- man, JaMariah, Jordan, Journee and Jayden; 2 fur grandpups, Kashmir and Lion; 3 brothers, Druther Robinson, III, Georgia, Tyrone (Viola) Robinson, New Jer- sey, and Dennis Robinson, Sr., Plant City, FL; 5 sisters, Mary Ann (Freddie) Washington, Plant City, Dayle (Henry Lee) Foster, Plant City, Colleen (Waylon) Mike, Mul- berry, FL, Pamela (Bruce) Nesbitt, Plant City, and Daphne Robinson (Ernest), Plant City; honorary brother, Officer Dennis Pawlowski, Plant City; 2 aunts, Carrie Chapman and Annie Mae Woodard, Plant City; mother-in- law, OIpal Pearson, Lakeland; sis- ter-in-law, Mary Jo Walker (George) Smith, Plant City; a host of special nieces, nephews, grand- nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, special friends and many sorrow- ing friends.

MRS. GLORIA RUFEAN BOWMAN
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Gloria Rufean Bowman who departed this life on August 19, 2021, will be held on Satur- day, September 4. 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Ave., Tampa, FL, Dr. Benjamin Curry, Pastor with Su- perintendent Ivan Cutts, Sr., Of- ficiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave. Tampa, FL.
Gloria Rufean Bowman was born on July 13, 1937, in Miami, Florida, to Mr. Eugene Albury and Ms. Ruth Cherry. Gloria, (Granny) as she was affection- ately called, was a very loving and caring mother, grand- mother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
Gloria was known for her generous heart and her unwa- vering efforts to assist anyone in need. One of her passions was listening to music, most impor- tant was spending time with her family, and she was the life of the party.
Gloria attended Middleton High School and while in atten- dance, she was a member of the Middleton Danceratte team. After high school, Gloria worked numerous odds and ends job, then she landed a job as a super- visor of housekeeping at Holiday Inn for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Talvin Bowman; daughter, Kimberly Williams; mother, Ruth Cherry; father, Eugene Albury; sister, Gwen- dolyn Fields; grandparents Fan- nie and Elmer Williams.
She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories with: her life partner, Isaiah Keefer; (11) chil- dren, Anthony Bowman, Donald Bowman, Carl Carr, Vincent Carr, Maurice Carr (Sharron Carr), Ilona Young, Sylvia Williams (Terrence Williams), Eric Bowman (Holly Bowman), Veronica Young, Tuwana Scott, and Darius Keefer (Pastor Shanell Keefer); 1 brother, Rubean Cherry; 2 sisters, Cyn- thia Reeves and Patricia Strawder; grandchildren Tiffanie Bowman, Shannon Wilkerson, Tolanda (Peaches) Bowman, Robbie Bowman, An- tonino Bowman, Christopher Bowman, Sherica Franklin, Fabin Williams, Ebony Jackson (David Jackson), Brandi Williams, Ashley Washington, Darrius Carr, Tamika Buie, Dana Green, Diana Scott (Eddie Scott), Courtney Pittman (Tyrell Pittman), Ciara Young, Shakil Young, Michael Bridgeman, Xi- anna Hardrick, Henry Archie, Dvonnisha Hardrick, Brittany Bowman, Jaylen Williams, Ma’Kayla Bowman, Kiah Bow- man-Edouard (Jerry Edouard), D’Amoni Ash, Dedrick Ash, Khalis Ash; host of great grand- children and great, great, grand- children.
