MS. VICEOLA SCRIVENS GROVER
Ms. Viceola Scrivens Grover passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospi- tal, Tampa, Florida, on Wednes- day, August 18, 2021 surrounded by three of her sons. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Julia Jackson, officiat- ing.
Ms. Viceola Scrivens Grover was born on December 24, 1925, in Brooksville, Florida, to Munroe Scrivens and Eliza Scrivens.
She was employed as a Nurse’s Aide for several years and was a faithful member of College Hill Church of God in Christ.
She was preceded in death by: her daughters, Anne Gates, Cherry Jackson, Carol Sutherland and her son, Kent Jackson, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: six sons, Joe Jackson, Sr., (Julia), Gary Jackson, Carl Jack- son, Tony Jackson, Lorenzo Jack- son (Marsha) and Timothy Jackson (Erlene); one daughter, Gloria Jackson and a host of grandchildren, great, grandchil- dren, great, great grandchildren, and great, great, great grandchil- dren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The remains will repose from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sep- tember 3, 2021 at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. MASKS ARE RE- QUIRED.

Mrs. Cynthia Hope Hall of Tampa, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sat- urday, September 4, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Pastor Bruce E. Garmon, officiat- ing. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. In- terment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
Cynthia Hope Hall was born on July 19, 1946. She was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and at- tended the public schools of Hills- borough County. She graduated from George Middleton High School, “Class of 1964.”
She attended college in South Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor of Administration Degree in 1968.
She became a teacher in the Hillsborough County School Sys- tem, then chose a career path in corporate America in the Insur- ance Industry. She later returned to the school system and ended her career as a Professional Adminis- trative Assistant with a prestigious law firm, before retiring in 2008.
A faithful church member, Cyn- thia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and the matriarch of her family.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Willie Johnson and mother, Wilhemenia McCloud Cobb.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: a loving husband, Arthur J. Hall; son, Jeremiah Hudson, Jr.; daughter, Venita D. Hudson; brothers, Reverend Wendell C. Pope, Sr., (Alice), Deacon Wilburt Johnson (Elaine) and Dr. John Cobb, Jr.; sister, Deaconess Bar- bara Battle (Bennie) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grand- children and great grandchildren.
The remains will repose from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, Tampa. MASKS ARE RE- QUIRED.

Ms. Tommie Celeste Jackson of Tampa, Florida departed this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. A Cel- ebration of Life will be held on Sat- urday, September 4, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Bap- tist Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610 with Pastor Michael White, officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Street, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Tommie was born on January 30, 1961, in Eufaula, Alabama, to Thomas C. Jackson and Martha Jackson.
She received her education through Barbour County Public Schools graduating from Eufaula High School on May 29, 1979, relo- cating to Tampa, Florida. Tommie was a devoted and faithful worker who loved her job at Coastal Wipers, where she was employed for 30 years.
A dedicated mother, grand- mother and friend, the joy and pleasure of her life was her chil- dren, grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Thomas C. Jackson; sis- ter, Linda Hill; and special nephew, Thomas Jackson, III.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: two children, Omar (Shawnicka) Bacon and Tinesha Jackson; two grandchildren, Olivia (Livi) Bacon and Dontavious (DJ) Taylor, all of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Thomas C. Jackson, II, (twin brother) and Harry (Jeanette) Jackson, all of Eufaula, AL; one sister, Melissa Craddock, of Abbeville, AL; special nieces, Santresa Perry and Dana Williams, of Eufaula, AL; special cousins, Cedric (Juanita) Spencer; best friend, Bridgette Moore; a special boss, Gary Smiles, all of Tampa, FL; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Willie Lawson, Jr., (aka Erion Prada), of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, with Reverend Lane, officiating.
Mr. Willie Lawson, Jr., was a native of Tampa, Florida. He at- tended Wilson Jr. High School and graduated from Hillsborough Adult High School. He was of the Baptist faith and was previously employed at US Foods in Tampa.
Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by: his father, Mr. Willie Lawson, Sr.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: his mother, Oletha Hearn-Lawson; daughter, Sgt. Charmine Lawson; granddaughter, Zi-Yonnah Lawson; son, Christian Malik Lawson; sisters, Felicia Har- ris, Tamara Lawson, Marilyn Law- son-Glymph, Debra Lawson-Higdon, Tina Thomas, Juanita Singleton, Angelia Thomas, Vellena Reed, Shermica Hearn and Carolyn Lawson Hadley (Alvin); brother, Will Reed; uncles, James Hearn (Maxine), Oscar Hearn (Minnie), Larry Lawson (Tracee); aunts, Betty Hearn, Eve- lyn Jenkins, and Mary Chester; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Ms. Clote Wallace was a native of Donalsonville, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for 64 years. She attended the Donalsonville, Georgia School System and was a member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. She was employed as a CNA at Brady’s Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by: her father and mother, Agusta and Sernella Whatley-Wallace; son, Major Larry L. Thompson; and son-in-law, Charles Morris.
