Their final tour included their walk on a tall bridge that separates Breisach, Germany from Strasbourg, France.

Summer Brings The Heat To The National Days Of Kindness
Summer National Days Of Kindness Begin Today
Being kind is its own re- ward, but For The Family is going a big step further dur- ing the National Days of Kindness that begin on Fri- day, June 14.
You and your friends are invited to do a random act of kindness and describe it in a “selfie” smartphone video that’s emailed to ForThe- FamilyTampa@gmail.com by June 30th. It can be as simple as making people happy at a Senior Center, school, or hospital. If you want to be creatively kind, so much the better. You can even record your kind action as it happens. Everyone knows that the reward for brightening someone’s day is larger than the effort it takes.
However, For The Family will make do even more to make it worth your while by pre- senting a $25 Publix Gift Card for the winning video. Every NDK video is also eligible to win a Family Flame Award and a $100 Gift Card in the Random Act of Kindness category at the Fourth Annual National FAM Awards on November 22 in Tampa.
This is the “Academy Awards of Kindness,” where the best videos are honored just like movies get Oscars. It culminates Kindness of the Heart activities that are tak- ing place from coast-to-coast in the U. S. and Canada.
Meanwhile, “Family Flame Awards” and $100 Gift Cards will also be pre- sented for smartphone “selfie” videos that nominate deserving parents, sisters,

brothers, sons, daughters, volunteers, and First Re- sponders. Praise and Grati- tude and Kindness to and from Animals are other

There’s no easier way to prove the power of kindness. Thanks for helping it shine when we can use every bit of light there is.
