AIKENS
MS. CONCHITA PATRICIA PEARSON
A Homegoing Celebra- tion for Ms. Conchita Patri- cia Pearson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017, will be held Wednesday, July 19th at 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pas- tor Roy Taylor, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Conchita was born March 22, 1958 in Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the Hillsborough County schools. Her favorite color was blue; she loved to listen to the singer, Al Green. She also enjoyed going to the cir- cus, loved to dance, listen- ing to gospel music and shopping. She attended the First Baptist Church of West Tampa.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Carl- ton and Doris Jean Pearson; grandparents, Clifton Clark, Sr.; and Corine Ford and Levi and Augustine Pear- son; uncle, Clifton Clark, Jr., aunts, Wanda Marie Ford and Annie Ruth Ford Gregory.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, Patricia Loretta Pearson and Dennis Rozondo Ford; grandson, Mydre Robert Montina; sis- ters, Marketa Reed (Perry), Mary Dean Vereen (Robert), Wanda “Cookie” Brown (Alvin), Carla Pearson, Car- lene Pearson and Yolanda Pearson Robinson; aunts, Shirley Pearson, Joann Pearson White, Jackie Pear- son and Barbara L. Ford (John Reddick); uncles, Richard Pearson, Robert L. Ford (Mattie) and Alphonzo Ford (MaryAnn); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; caregivers and friends, Delores Heming- way and Demitrius Ham- mond; special thanks to all of the staff at Habana Healthcare who were in- strumental in the care of our mother.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, July 19th from9-10a.m.Thefamily and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the services.

A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Spring Shandon White, 60 of Tampa, Florida, who passed away at 4:15 a. m. at the Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida on Monday, July 10, 2017, will be held Wednes- day,July19th,from5-8p.m.
The wake will begin at 6 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, 33610.
Spring was born in San- ford, Florida on June 7, 1957 to the late Thomas and Corine “Jackie” White.
She is survived by: son, Jovote J. Surcy and daugh- ter, Shandann C. White; five siblings, Johnnie Smith, Rickey Smith, Maxine Robin- son, Alice White, and Lexxie Myrick, all of Tampa, Florida.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the fu- neral home on Wednesday for the service.

MR. HEYWARD EUGENE CLARK
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Heyward Eugene Clark, who passed away July 11, 2017, will be held Thurs- day, July 20, 2017 at 10 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL, with the Reverend Dr. Charles W. Washington offi- ciating. Interment will follow at 1 p. m. in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513.
Heyward Eugene Clark, affectionately known as “Cowboy,” was born on April 24, 1955, in Haines City, FL to the late Eugene Clark and the late Leola Washington. Hey- ward grew up in Haines City, FL. He was a member of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and attended Haines City High School.
A charismatic, artistic, and creative man, Heyward enjoyed working with his hands, acquiring many skills in woodworking and carpen- try, while in high school. He co-founded the musical group, “The Soul Distinc- tion,” and played bass guitar and percussion, his brother, Arthur James (Greg), played lead guitar.
Heyward joined the U. S. Army and after serving he was honorably discharged.
Heyward moved to Tampa and worked for Tampa Elec- tric Co. (TECO), and was a long-distance truck driver.
Heyward leaves a loving family who will cherish fond memories: son, Marcus Clark; former wife, Patricia; 3 grandchildren: Lauryn, Mar- cus Elijah, and Marcus Eu- gene; 6 sisters, Doretha Carson (Rufus), Betty Madi- son, Gloria Rolack-Fleming (David), Reva Reed, Shirley Coleman, and Paralee Harris; brother, Charles W. Wash- ington (Mary); aunt, Mae Francis Woodard, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Special caregivers, Gloria (sister), Anita, Rudean, Sandria, and Ms. Irene.
Visitation for Mr. Hey- ward Eugene Clark will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 5–8 p. m. at Har- mon Funeral Home. The pro- cessional will assemble at the funeral home at 9:45 a. m.

MS. MAVIS A. JOHNSON
Funeral Services for Ms. Mavis A. Johnson will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, at 10 a. m. at Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church, 2923 N. Tampa Street, Tampa, FL. 33602. Ms. Mavis A. Johnson passed away from this life on Monday, July 10, 2017.
She was born in Bala- clava, Jamaica to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeramiah Salkey. Ms. Mavis attended schools in Balaclava, Jamaica.
In 1955, while in Jamaica she met and later married the late Samuel Johnson. They were married 54 years before the Lord called Deacon Samuel Johnson home. Ms. Mavis was a member of Excit- ing Central Tampa Baptist Church, where she served as a deaconess and was an ac- tive member in the Charity Sunday Class.
She was preceded in death by: late husband and one of her sons.
Mavis leaves to cherish her memory: three beautiful and beloved children, three siblings, a host of grandchil- dren, great-grandchildren and many friends and well- wishers.
