MRS. MONIQUE MONTEZ BAITY
A Homegoing Graveside Celebration for Mrs. Monique Montez Baity of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 1 p. m., at Garden of Mem- ories Cemetery, 4217 E. Lake Ave., Rev. James L. Gallon, of- ficiating. The interment will follow.
On March 1, 1972, Monique Montez Baity was born to the late Brenda Grant and Calvin Lewis, Sr. in Tampa, Florida. She joined the angels in heaven, surrounded by her loving family.
Monique accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child. She was a member of the H. B. Plant High School gradu- ating, class of 1991. All who knew Monique, knew of her love of cooking, which became a passion she was able to pur- sue academically by earning a culinary arts degree in April 2021.
Because of her nurturing spirit, Ms. Baity played an ac- tive role in assisting in the care- taking and child rearing of not only her siblings, but also her nieces, nephews, and younger cousins. Monique also enjoyed writing poetry and belonged to an online poetry group.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Brenda Grant; grandparents, Clarence Baity, Sr., and Mosley Clark; aunts, Ann Martin and Clarice Green, and uncle, Clarence Baity, Jr.
She is survived by her brother, Rodrick Southers; sis- ters, April Green Damen (Tor- rey Damen, Sr.) and Kailaia Grant; nieces, Tylaia Damen and Aniya Campbell; nephews, Kamar Ashley, Torrick Damen and Torrence Damen; aunts, Janice Clark and Gailer Baity; godmother, Carolyn Hudgins; godbrother, John “Chip” Hud- gins; close cousins, Tameka Monroe, Regina Green and Derrick Baity; and a host of lov- ing family and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, October 29th from 4 to 8 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guide- lines.

MRS. FLOREEN RUTH BARNES LEE
A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Floreen (Lady) Ruth Barnes Lee, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on October 19, 2021, will be held, 1:00 p.m. on Satur- day, October 30th, at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Martin Luther King Blvd., Tampa, Florida, 33610, Rev. Kendrix Gardner, officiating. The inter- ment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Floreen was born September 6, 1950, in Uniontown, Pennsyl- vania, to Wardell Barnes, Sr., and Anna L. Johnson.
Lady’s favorite hobbies were anything related with cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Juanita Boatwright and Barbara Prescott; brothers, Tearo John- son, Wardell “Dave” Barnes, Curtis Barnes, and Lawrence Johnson; her beloved grand- daughter, La’Quetta Stephens and like a son, Levi Jones, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Floreen Lawson (Jason) and Carolyn Charlene Lee; grandchildren, Tearo Stephens, Tyesha Jones, Levi Jones, and Amari “Karon” Turner; great-grandchildren, Ja’Quayvion, Za’Ryah, Zy’Airrah, Zyran, Lyrix, Nion, Za’Liyah, Prince, and Makeda; brothers, Benjamin F. A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Darlene Evette “Dot” Palmer-Paulk, of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Friday, Oc- tober 22, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 3:00 p.m., at Exciting Faith Alive Church, 5705 E. 32nd Ave, Pastor Antonio Hawkins, officiating. The interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
Darlene was born on October 13, 1955, in Tampa, FL to James Junior Black and Lillie Mae Stewart Black. Darlene attended Middleton High School and graduated in 1973. She retired from the state of Florida Chil- dren and Family Services divi- sion in 2008. She loved dancing and cooking, and hosting family events.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lillie Mae Stew- art Black, and James Black, Jr.; brothers, Churmie Clayton Black and James Black.

MR. EDWARD WILSON
A Graveside Service for Mr. Edward Wilson of Tampa FL, who passed away on Wednes- day, October 20, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 10:00 a.m., at Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Rev. James L. Gal- lon officiating.
Edward was born on Novem- ber 20, 1946, in Cottondale, FL to Joe and Annie Mae Blaine. He attended school in Jackson County before moving to Tampa and graduating from Middleton Adult High School in 1973. He attended Henshaw Chapel AME Church in Cottondale and ac- cepted Christ at an early age. He worked for American Canning Company for many years before launching his career with CSX Railroad, where he worked over 30 years before retiring.
Edward enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobby was playing dominoes with his friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe, and Annie Mae Blaine; sister, Emma Jean Dickey; brother, Terry Wilson; and wife, Rhunetta Wilson.

Mr. Wimbush was born on March 23, 1948, in O’Brien, FL, to Mrs. Marion Wimbush. He was a retired employee of HARTLine.
He was preceded in death by: his mother; his brother, Robert (Bosom Bread) Wimbush, Sr.; and stepson, Tavaris Maurice Jones.
