MR. HARRY LEE SIMMONS
Celebration of Life Services will be held 1 P. M., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 East Columbus Drive, Tampa, FL 33605, with the Pastor, Rev. Larry L. Roundtree, II, officiating. In- terment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Harry Lee Simmons bid farewell to this part of life, to continue his spiritual life far beyond the skies, on June 24, 2019. Harry Lee Simmons was born February 6, 1950. Al- though he was born with autism, Harry had a loving and caring heart, with a passion for playing horse shoes and basket- ball.
Harry enjoyed taking kids to the park, pool and other places of fun. Harry loved the Bucs. He was happy when they won, and would denounce them if they lost.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Minnie and Tennie Simmons; 2 brothers, Tennie Simmons, Jr. and Samuel Simmons-Shabazz; 1 sister, Fannie Mae Simmons; 1 niece, Jamilla C. Daniel; and 1 great nephew, Demontae Sim- mons.
He lives on in the hearts and minds of: his caring and de- voted sister (who he would call Moma sometimes), Ruth Chris- tine Simmons-Brown; 1 brother, Willie James Sim- mons; and god-sister, Linda (LynnBo) Nieves; 15 nieces and nephews: Curtis E. Clark, Samuel L. (Chantell) Simmons, Minnie Cheral (Calvin) Sim- mons, Latasha D. (Ben) Sim- mons-Scruggs, Waymon Jackson, Jr., Antonio V. (Do- minique) Brooks, Kenydo A. (Meeka) Simmons, Ronnie E. (Lenora) Ponder, Brent L. Sim- mons, Byron J. Simmons, Tonya L. Simmons, Bryant L. (Aves) Simmons and Sade Sim- mons; a host of great nieces and nephews; family members and close friends.

MS. EVANGELA (VAN) COPELAND
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Evangela (Van) Copeland will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 11 a. m., at The Pente- costal Church of God In Jesus Christ, 4705 N. 26th Street, Tampa FL, 33610, Rev. T. M. Williams, Pastor with Pastor Adolphus Gilbert, eulogist.
Evangela (Van) Denise Copeland transitioned her life on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Tampa General Hospital.
She was born November 1, 1964, in Tampa to Clarence and Dorothy Copeland and was edu- cated in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
She was proceeded in death by: her father, Clarence Copeland and stepmother, Mat- tie Griffin; 2 brothers, Clarence Copeland, IV, and Ray Peter- son; grandparents, Clarence Copeland Jr., George L. Green, and Northern Davis.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories of her: 3 daugh- ters, Deanna, Delphine, and Doris; 5 sons, Terrence, Demetrius, Derrick, Jowan, and Johnta; her mother, Dorothy L. Copeland; 5 sisters, Angela, Bridgette, Makita, Joyce, and Kimberly; 6 broth- ers, Leroy, John, Antonio, Lloyd (wife, Jaquitha), and Gino.
Recently deceased grand- mother, Daisy L. Copeland; 13 grandchildren; 8 aunts, 2 un- cles, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Av- enue, Tampa, from 6-8 p. m.
Family and Friends will as- semble at the church on Satur- day at 10:45 a. m.

MS. INEZ LOUISE DUHART
Ms. Inez Louise Duhart, af- fectionately known as “Nana,” passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at Miracle Temple COGIC Church, 2001 N. Albany Avenue, with Superintendent C. U. Sut- ton, Pastor, officiating.
Ms. Inez was a native of Madison, Florida, and she moved to Tampa as a young girl with her parents and siblings. Inez has been a pillar in her fam- ily and community; taking in and raising children even before birthing her own children. Inez gracefully and happily raised 15 children while playing a vast role in many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives.
She was funny, pleasant, nurturing, and always embraced anyone with open arms who crossed her path. Inez will be greatly missed by so many whom truly loved.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandson, Den- nis Cook; and her daughter, Mary Jane McMahon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her brothers, Sam- mie Kitchen, Charles Jackson, and Leon Jackson; children, Ho- race Sheppard, Bobby Shep- pard, Wilbert Sheppard, Yolanda Burgess, Henderson Sheppard, Valery Sheppard, Linda Fernandez, Carlos Duhart, Lawanda Cook, Mar- quita Sheppard, Sarah Duhart, and Tasha Duhart; and also nu- merous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, July 5 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. KENDRICK DENSON
Mr. Kendrick Denson, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 6, at 11 a.m., at St. Mark Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 7221 S. Sherrill Street, Reverend Corre- gio Reaves, Pastor, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Kendrick Denson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and furthered his educa- tion with Hillsborough Commu- nity College.
Kendrick had a deep love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his smile and generosity.
He was preceded in death by: his loving aunt. Lillian “Leah” Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Retronda Jones; father, Jonathan Den- son; sisters, Sakendra Jones- Tucker (Robert), Najja Taylor-Denson, Jaela Denson, Jiana Denson and Jaiah Den- son; brother, Mason Denson; grandparents, JoAnn Jones, Freddie Jones (Patricia), Hazel Denson and Isell Denson; un- cles, Effren Denson, Freddie Jones (Candance), and Dwayne Jones; aunts, Clarissa Jones (Curtis), Dorinda Jones-Don- aldson (Marcus), Connie McCoy (Anthony); three nieces, Sanaa McDaniel, Taylor Mc- Daniel and Aayliah Sabree; one nephew, Logan Tucker; special family friends, Carla Bowens, Linda Walker and Linda Shan- non; and a host of other sorrow- ing relatives and devoted friends.

MRS. MAE ALANDA JEFFERS ‘SUGAR’
Mrs. Mae Alanda Jeffers “Sugar,” 92, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, lost a valiant fight with life as she passed away at home Friday evening, June 28, 2019, surrounded by family. Her Cel- ebration of Life will be held Monday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Sugar entered this world on June 3, 1927, in Greenville, South Carolina, and was the elder child of William (Bill) and Delilah Mae Turner. The family later relocated to Tampa, Florida, where her early educa- tion came from St. Peter Claver Catholic School and later at Don Thompson High School.
After graduation from high school she traveled to New York and attended fashion design school. Following design school, she worked briefly in the fashion industry in New York.
After the fashion industry, she returned to Tampa, where she was wed and began her life- long career as a renowned seamstress.
She designed and produced custom outfits for the Omegas, Kappas, Deltas and AKAs and other Socialites in and around the Tampa Bay area.
A woman of many talents, Sugar was renowned for her Sunday dinners, including her exceptional fried chicken.
Sugar is survived by: her three children, Lanness G. Robinson (Patricia) of Austin, Texas, William Jeffers of Jack- sonville, Florida and Delilah Solomon of Wesley Chapel, Florida; three grandchildren, Godfrey Robinson (Christine) of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Cedric L. Jeffers (Alesha) of Meridian, Mississippi and Brittany Jeffers of Las Vegas, Nevada; two great grandchildren, Jasmyn R. Robinson and Trey Robinson of Wesley Chapel; sister-in-law, Thelma Turner of Tampa; five nephews, James Ricks, William Turner, De’Andre Turner, Regi- nald Ricks, and Michael Ricks; six nieces, Selina Ross, Cecilia Ricks, Vanessa Turner, Alycia Honeyghon, Keanna Amerson, and Mya Amerson.
Preceding Sugar in death are: both mother and father, William and Delilah Mae Turner; her two brothers, Benny Edward Turner and William H. Turner, Jr.; loving son-in-law, Freddie Solomon; nephews, Lavaughn Turner, Robert Ricks, and Darryl Turner; and niece, Lathel De- Laney; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.
The remains will repose from 10 a.m. until service time Monday, July 8, at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
