This week’s Spotlight feature is Keriyani. This young lady comes fully equipped with a level of ma- turity usually not attributed to one so young, and a vision to keep growing until she gets where she wants to be. Keriyani is always the center of atten- tion, and handles it with humbleness and charm. This young lady isn’t shy at all, and really enjoys being photographed. Congratulations to Keriyani as this week’s Spotlight feature.
Independent Insurance Agent Looks To Educate And Empower ‘Seasoned’ Community
Chris Assefa, owner and founder of Bleu Sky’s Insur- ance Solutions, has been in the community for 20+ years. The journey began with the goal of empowering and educating as many people in the commu- nity as possible so that they would have coverage that would suit their individual needs. She always approaches individuals with compassion and a heartfelt desire to im- prove their lives.
As we know, Medicare is complex and ever changing. But, Chris takes her time to first educate individuals on the complexities and nuances of the overwhelmingness of un- derstanding what it means to have Medicare. She does it with patience, compassion and poise.

she has fostered various busi- ness partnerships. Chris has partnered with numerous community organizations -- Hand of Hope, Black Business Bus Tour, Dream Builders, Greater Mt. Carmel AME, and True Prosperity Evangelist Outreach Ministries.
Ms. Assefa went through the training and is certified as an Access Partner to help indi- viduals who need help apply
for food stamps, low income subsidy and Medicaid. She has signs posted and folks in the community can call her for an appointment.
Ms. Assefa is a proud mother to a fantastic son, Russell.

Pro Football Hall Of Famer Deion Sanders Graduates From Talladega College
TALLADEGA, AL — NFL Pro Hall of Famer Deion Sanders graduated with his bachelor's degree from Tal- ladega College in Alabama on Sunday morning, August 16, 2020.
The college said Sanders completed the school's FAST- track program this past semes- ter, a program designed for busy adults.
The college said Sanders' degree is in Business Adminis- tration: Organizational Man- agement.
No word yet on how Sanders plans on using his new degree.
Deion Sanders received his bachelor’s degree Sunday from Tal- ladega College.
