Boys And Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay To Host Holiday Events
Quality Service Has Kept This Body Shop Owner In Business For 36 Years

At the heart of the Christ- mas season, the joy of giving brings many people together. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay are continuing their phenomenal work this Christmas season with pro- grams big and small to bring smiles and wonder to the pre- cious children of our commu- nities.
In particular, there are three events that will bring the public and our children to- gether for a joyous season.
On December 17, 2019,
Robert Half International will hold their 11th Annual Christ- mas Party and Fundraiser to benefit the children of Clair Mel Elementary School. The party will include a toy drive and is open to the public.
The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., will be held at the Jeff and Penny VinikBoys and Girls Club, in the Clair Mel/Palm River area, 7605 Destin Dr., Tampa, FL 33619.

On December 19, 2019,
the Wilbert Davis Boys and Girls Club in Belmont Heights along with mentor Carolynn Smith–Jones will have a toy giveaway to benefit children of Belmont Heights.
There will be food and an uplifting program. The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Wilbert Davis Boys and Girls Club, 3515 Sarah Street, Tampa, FL 33605.

On December 20, 2019, Mrs. Delores Solomon, widow of Tampa icon, Fred- die Solomon, and the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Office will host a holiday cele- bration and toy giveaway at the Freddie Solomon Boys and Girls Club in Nuccio Park,

There are hidden treas- ures in every town and Tampa has one in Mr. Ben Foster, expert body and collision repair man.
The owner and operator of University Body Repair, Foster is one of the few and Black-owned body shops in Tampa.
He has been in the body repair business for much of his life. His first shop, Talk of the Town, opened in 1983. University Body Re- pair has been open for over 30 years.
Mr. Foster credits his
two brothers, Morris and Louis Foster for backing him and providing support whenever needed.
It’s a family affair in the daily operations as well, as Foster’s son, Jamell Peeler, has been working with him side by side for 29 years.
Foster promises fast, quality service for all body repair, especially collision repair.
The collision specialists are located at 1138 E. Fletcher Ave.
Ben Foster is also known for having won ‘Best Show Van’ award in Florida some years ago.
