Mother Thelma Green Celebrates Her 95th Birthday
Mother Thelma Green celebrated her 95th birthday last month with family and friends: adventuring out on a fishing trip, with her son’s luxury limo and antique cars, and of course, attending worship service.
Mother Green is a longtime member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church with Pastor Bartholomew and First Lady Vanessa Banks.
Mother Green says the birthday celebration is not over. As soon as Coronavirus passes through, she’ll continue celebrating. (Photographs by Julia Jackson)
Mother Thelma Green celebrated her 95th birthday with her chil- dren at the home of her son, Danny Green. They are: Tony Green, Vernita Johnson, Delores G. Grayson, Lee Melvin Green, Michael Green, Patricia Green, Eddie Dutcheville and Danny Green.
On the seashore, she prepares to cast her fishing line to see what she’ll come up with.
