City of Lakeland, North Lake Wire Community Cleanup
On Saturday March 14th, Executive Director of the Dream Center of Lakeland, Michael Cooper, All Saints of Lakeland Community Outreach Committee Member Jeff Cox, right, Community Volunteer Shandale Ter- rell, left, and several citizens volunteered in the com- munity cleanup. The folks provided their time, support and assistance in cleaning up trash, alleyways, vacant lots; painting houses, mowing lawns and delivering food items to the citizens in need within City of Lake- land, North Lake Wire Community.
Among the Churches and Organizations that pro- vided assistance were: the Dream Center of Lakeland, Salvation Army of Lakeland, New Beulah Missionary Baptist Church of Lakeland, All Saints Church of Lake- land, Rhema Word of Faith International Church of Lakeland, Florida and the Lakeland Police Depart- ment.

47th Anniversary
One of the church’s co-founders is honored during the service
New Palm River Church of God in Christ celebrated 47 years with services starting on Friday, March 13th.
Friday evening, the church honored Mother Lillie Mae Mills, who co-founded the church with her husband, Pastor Ollie Mills, who passed 30 years ago.

    The choir went ‘old school,’ bringing out the robes for the first time in 10 years.
