Remy Ma Signs Multi-Million Deal With Columbia
Remy Ma is back with a record label. Back in 2006, the Grammy-nominated emcee released her debut album, There's Something About Remy, via Terror Squad/SRC Records/Univer- sal.

According to XXL, Rem signed a new contract with Columbia Records. Baller Alert reports it's a multi-mil- lion dollar deal.
Music from the Love & Hip Hop star is expected to drop very soon.
Southern Rappers Drop Album Without Warning
Another week, another surprise rap project. The aptly titled Without Warning from 21 Savage, Offset, and Metro Boomin arrived overnight.
The 10-track collection also features Offset's Migos partner Quavo as well as Texas hitmaker Travis Scott.
Social media quickly re- acted to the unexpected album with Without Warn- ing becoming a trending topic on Twitter.

Issa Rae Set To Develop 90s-Themed Show For HBO
Issa Rae, the creator and star of hit show, ‘Insecure’ will stay in business with HBO.
According to Deadline, she is developing a drama set in Los Angeles in the early and turbulent 1990s, centering on a black family "dealing with events of the era."
The description continues, "Bridging those later Reagan Era and early Clinton years, the drama will center on the marriage of Sheryl and Jackson. Sheryl is a real es- tate agent and her hubby is a LAPD anti-gang task force re-

cruit. The potential series will also feature the couple’s teen daughter and son, Ebony and Les."
Corey Hawkins To Portray Stokely Carmichael In Spike Lee And Jordan Peele Movie ‘Black Klansman’
Corey Hawkins is the latest name to join Spike Lee and Jordan Peele's thriller called Black Klans- man.
He joins the film's lead, John David Wash- ington (Denzel’s son) and Spider-Man: Homecom- ing's Laura Harrier.
Hawkins will portray civil rights leader Stokely Carmichael (also known as Kwame Ture).
It will tell the true story of Ron Stallworth (Wash- ington), a Black man who in- filtrated the KKK.
Lee will direct and produce. Peele will also produce.
The project will tell Stall- worth's story, who "in 1978 answered an ad in the local newspaper seeking new Klan members. He not only gained membership, but rose through the ranks to become the head of the local chapter.
Flavor Flav Developing New Variety Show In Las Vegas
Public Enemy group member Flavor Flav has his sights on Las Vegas, with a new high-profile variety show.
Flav is developing a new show called "Flavor Flav's Vegas," where he will inter- view celebrities, participate in comedy sketches and jam with the musical guests since he can play 14 musical instru- ments.
Art will also be incorpo- rated into the show as Fla- vor will interview top visual artists.
Public Enemy group mem- ber Flavor Flav is developing Variety Show in Las Vegas.
“I always dreamed of being a variety show host, and I think it’s about time,” Flavor Flav said.
Flavor, born William Drayton Jr., has lined up some serious partners for the show.
"Flavor Flav's Vegas" will be directed by veteran televi- sion executive Leon Knoles, who has credits on shows like "the Arsenio Hall Show," "America’s Got Tal- ent," "The Talk" and "Last Comic Standing."
Additionally, Flav has signed super producer, Teddy Riley to serve as the music director of the variety show.
John David Washington (Denzel Washington’s son) is the lead and Corey Hawkins was nominated for a Tony award for his por- trayal of Dr. Dre in ‘Straight Outta Compton’.
‘Bad Boy’ Spinoff TV Series Starring Gabrielle Union Picked Up By NBC
In a competitive situation with multiple networks pur- suing, a Bad Boys spinoff TV series project starring Gabrielle Union has landed at NBC with a pilot production commitment.
The project, centered on the Special Agent Syd Bur- nett character played by Union in 2003’s Bad Boys II who is making a cross- country move from Miami to Los Angeles, was taken to the marketplace last week by Bad Boys movies’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The series is still untitled and has been pitched around Union’s
