Unity
nity is defined as a
collective group being in agreement as a whole. I believe, citizens of all cultures working together for one com- mon cause to enhance the productivity of mankind, is the superior form of unity.
Why is unity impor- tant?
We build cities, coun- ties, states, and nations with elected officials, en- gineers, and construc- tion workers working together in unity.
We make cars, trucks, trains, aircrafts, and air- planes by working to- gether in unity.
We educate young men and women in K-12 Schools and in Institu- tions of Higher Educa- tion across the world in unity.
Does it take a devas- tating disaster: A cate- gory 5 hurricane, a category 5 tornado, flooding, wild fires, hate crimes at Virginia Uni- versity campus in Char- lottesville Virginia, gun violence, sickness or death, in order to have worldwide unity? Why can't we as Americans be proactive and become
unified everyday on a consistent bases?
I know as a people we have different political views. But nothing, and I mean nothing, should di- vide us as Americans, es- pecially when we have North Korea prepared to start a war with the United States of Amer- ica, white supremacists, Ku Klux Klan (KKK), and other hate groups want- ing to divide Americans and America.
Everyday I pray for a nation of peace and a peace of mind. Let's build a unified front right here in the United States of America and not allow anything to de- stroy it. Let's be so uni- fied that hate, fear, and war do not break our bond. Let us be a united- front in our local, state and national communi- ties.
In conclusion, my prayers go out to the multitude of citizens who are experiencing the ef- fects of hurricanes, earthquakes, and recent natural disasters.
