TO GREATER BETHEL’S 128TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE
Maya Angelou said: “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
This statement is true of many events in life. We ask that you take the time to review the digital footprint of how God has blessed Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church over the last 128 years. This historical document includes the written history, images of historical documents such as the anniversary program from 1949 and 1956, interviews of some of our legacy members and prior members as well as an array of photos from the past.
We feel deeply honored and blessed to have been a part of this effort to bring you this historical overview. God has truly been in our midst and blessed this effort. Without his hand, so many of these artifacts reflecting our past would have been lost forever. WE PRAISE GOD! WE THANK GOD!
