MR. WILLIAM DAVID COLE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. William David Cole of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 11 a. m. at New Mt. Zion M. b. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Pastor Larry Roundtree, II; Assoc. Min. Larenz Johnson, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
William David Cole was born in Tampa, Florida, on Septem- ber 26, 1966 to the late Sam and Ethel Elizabeth Cole. He was af- fectionately known to most peo- ple as “Cole” and raised in Hillsborough County. He gradu- ated from Robinson High School and worked at the Tampa Convention Center. He was raised in the New Mt. Zion MB Church, baptized by the late Rev. Bobby Jones. He enjoyed playing pool, dominoes, watch- ing sports and enjoyed a good Cuban cigar and loved the Dal- las Cowboys football team.
He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with: his children, Jasmine, David, Jr., and Demontra, Anthony (Porchia), Cierricka, Do- minique, Jackie, Jessica, Ryan, Tacara and Davisha, Shaquita, Jevel, Sydavia, Ronald, Ha- keem, Jasmone and Jamokie; grandchildren, Anthony, Jr., Uriah, Evelio, Jasoni, Jamarko, Queen and Havier; a devoted mother, Ethel E. Cole; compan- ion, LaSonya Lavese Cole; brothers, Brendford L. Cole, Carl A. Cole and Jeffrey B. MRS. DIANE ELIZABETH TORRANCE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Diane Elizabeth Torrance of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019, will be held Friday, August 23rd, 10 a. m., at Victory AME Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Rev. James D. Sykes, officiating. The interment will be at Florida National Ceme- tery, Bushnell, Florida.
Diane was born March 8, 1957, in Rockford, IL, to Eddie Torrance and Pearline Torrance. She was a veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed read- ing, listening to gospel music, watching boxing and track and field, shopping, going to the movies and dinner and praising Almighty God.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Eddie Torrance; brothers, Nathan, James and Eddie Torrance, Jr.; godson, Amari Andra Williams; godsis- ter, Janette Klines; and godfa- ther, Rev. Charlie Sims.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Jerry Couzens, Jr. “Scooter;” grandchildren, Alexis Joy, Ashlyn, Ire, Adayah, Ava, Jerzy, Jett and Aila Couzens; mother, Pearline Tor- rance; brother, Ernest Phillips (Palmer); sisters, Vanessa De- Walt, Sylvia Bames and Jonita Rodgers; aunts, Lura Graham and Dorothy Cooper; godmother, Lena Sims; friends, Sheila Her- nandez, Brenda Young, Butch, Twanda Bradley, Mark McPher- son, and D’Angelo McPherson; and a host of other sorrowing rel- atives and friends who will dearly miss her.
The visitation will be at Aikens Funeral Home on Thurs- day, August 22nd, from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from5to6p.m.

touching the lives of countless of people with her kindness, her voice, warm heart, and open arms. She would come to your rescue. You definitely could call on her for any concerns.
On August 12, 2019, her life full of abundance of love abruptly came to an end.
Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by: her husband, Rev. Nathaniel Gibson; her mother, Annie Ruth Beckwith; and grandparents, Bessie Stoudamire, and Jerry Franklin.
She is survived and loved by: devoted, beautiful daugh- ters: Cynesia Boykins (Justin), Earlynthea Knight (Ishmeal) and Cyntia Beckwith; loving grandchildren; Ishmeal Knight. Jr., Ishamaira Knight, Isaac Knight, Cyntavia Beckwith, Cyn- teria Beckwith, Cy’lia Beckwith, and Nathaniel Washington; brothers, Theodis Beckwith, Jr., Jerry Beckwith (Kathy), James Beckwith and Michael Beck- with; nieces, Cynesia Beckwith, Jerlaine Beckwith, Lakeithea Beckwith, Erica Beckwith, Jaida Farley, and Epic Atkins; nephews, Kevin Beckwith, Ed- ward Beckwith, Theodric Beck- with, James Knight, Michael Beckwith, Jr., and Kundre Mitchell; special cousin, Cassan- dra Osborne (Charles); best friends, Evelynn Sims, Pamela Beckwith and Robert Rice.
There are so many she loved and cherished Included among them are: Marlene Williams, DJ Tony Tee-Pee Payne, Janice Fleming, Jeffery Taylor, DJ Freaky Freddy, Donald Dowridge, Jr., Eddie Harris, Va- lerie Bullock, Cleo Heart, Yvette Madison, Sylvia Williams, and Jim Beekman. She is also sur- vived by a host of family, friends and co-workers that loved and will dearly miss “Ms Cherrie.”
The wake will be held Friday, August 23, 2019, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33610. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Viewing will end at 7 p.m. and Memorial Talk will take place from 7:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

MR. LEROY CLARK, JR. ‘ROY’
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Leroy Clark, Jr. “Roy” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Pastor S. Evan Bur- rows; Rev. Christopher Jarne- gan, Asst. Pastor, officiating, with Rev. Michael Neely, pastor of New Millennium, eulogist. The interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Leroy was born February 13, 1972 in Tampa, Florida, to the late Leroy Clark, Sr. and Janet Clark. He attended First Baptist Church of College Hill his entire life.
He graduated from Gaither High School in 1990 and at- tended Tuskegee University for three years with a major in Ani- mal Science. He also completed studies in Aquaculture at Hills- borough Community College and internships at the Space Academy, Level 2, in 1989, and Lowry Park Zoo in 2000. Be- cause he was very passionate about conserving our environ- ment and the effects of global warming, Leroy attempted to patent several inventions to help the cause.
He was an avid gardener, an- imal lover, collector of coins and sport cards. In the year 2000, the Tampa Tribune presented him an award for discovering one of the oldest oak trees in Tampa. He was employed by ESD Home Solutions, LLC, as a sales representative and con- ducted demonstrations for Wal- mart Straight Talk for numerous household products. He had recently started A and T Gardens.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Leroy Clark, Sr. and his brother, Darryl Jones.
He leaves to mourn his pass- ing his loving mother, Janet Clark; sons, Leroy, Jr. and Zarek Williams; stepson, Alexander Lenox; brother, Stephen Jones (Stephania); godsister, Jeanya Owens; companion, Gillena Marie Longworth; aunts, Vivian Smith, Betty Richards, Barbara Isom, Edna Nicks (Alvoyd) and Michele Walker (Tyrone); cousins, James Oliver (Yvonne), Alvita Wright, Alvoyd Nicks, III (Jackie), Alkwanya Collins, Vickie Isom, Len Isom, David Isom, III; and a host of other cousins, nephews, sorrowing friends and best friend, Richard Miller.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m.

MRS. CYNTHIA BECKWITH ‘MS. CHERRIE’ GIBSON
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Cynthia Beckwith “Ms. Cherrie” Gibson, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2919, at 1 p.m., at the Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33610, with Apostle Mark T. Jones, offi- ciating. Interment will take place in Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33610.
On June 29, 1960, God al- lowed the love of Cynthia D. Beckwith to enter Earth through the lives of Annie and Theodis Beckwith, Sr. He blessed them with a beautiful daughter that would leave her mark on this Earth. Mrs. Cynthia Beckwith Gibson also known as “Ms. Cher- rie,” was born in Tampa in the Sulphur Springs Community. She was baptized at Springhill M. B. Church at an early age.
She moved to Detroit, Michi- gan and stayed there until her teen years. She returned to Tampa to further her education. Mrs. Gibson found love and mar- ried Rev. Nathaniel Gibson and they served in ministry until his death.
She was a hard working en- trepreneur and this was evident as she owned various businesses throughout the years. She was employed with the Hillsborough County School District as a beloved bus driver and trainer
