ACT-SO WINNERS PRESENTED AT PRESS CONFERENCE
After the ACT-SO competition last month, the Hillsborough County Branch of the NAACP ACT-SO Committee held a press conference at Middleton High School. Two of the winners are students at Middleton, one in the STEM program. On hand to congratulate the students and recognize their efforts, from left to right are: Dr. Bennie Small, Hillsborough County Branch President; George Robinson, retired educator and USF African-American recruiter; Ms. Kim Moore, Principal of Middleton; Joshua Ingram, Middleton student who was the Gold winner in Engineering; Charity Franks, Arts winner; Travian Moore, Middleton Assistant Principal of Administration; Richard Robinson, retired Architectural Engineer, who served as a judge; and Maurice Jackson, Chairman of the ACT-SO Committee.
