The Raptors Tip The Finals With Their Own Strength In Numbers
Kawhi Leonard Files
With Kevin Durant still sidelined due to the calf injury he suffered nearly a month ago, Kevon Looney out in- definitely due to a fractured collarbone suffered in Game 2, and Klay Thompson sit- ting out a playoff game for the first time in his career,1 it was clear before the game started that the Golden State War- riors would need a Herculean effort from Stephen Curry in order to win Game 3 and take a 2-1 lead over the Rap- tors in the NBA Finals.
Golden State got that Her- culean effort. And it wasn’t enough.
In fact, it’s difficult to imag- ine Curry playing a better game: Steph scored 47 points, snared 8 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. He became the first player in Fi- nals history to score 45 or more while also recording five or more rebounds, assists and made 3-pointers. And yet the Warriors trailed for almost the entire game, and lost by 14 points at home.
Kyle Lowry Hopes Fan Who Pushed Him Gets Banned By NBA
Kyle Lowry, left, crashed into courtside seats while trying to save a ball heading out of bounds.
Kyle Lowry has strong thoughts on the fan who pushed him during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednes- day night.
Early in the fourth quarter, Lowry dove into the crowd to try and save a loose ball fol- lowing a Serge Ibaka blocked shot. Lowry was pushed by a Golden State Warriors fan, who later ap- peared to be escorted out of his seat.
The Toronto Raptors point guard was asked about the matter after the game and felt harsh discipline was in line.
Lowry is right. The fan had no business pushing him. That crossed a line of decency and is probably why he was taken out of the seat.
The Warriors have yet to announce whether any disci- pline has been handed to the fan.

  Anthony Joshua Says He Is
The loss in New York was the first of Anthony Joshua's 23-fight profes- sional career and he has dis- missed suggestions anything was wrong with him.
"I had no panic attack," the 29-year-old said in video posted online on Wednesday.
"I have to take my loss like a man. No blaming anyone or anything."

Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors stole back home-court advantage with their Game 3 win in Oakland.
Kawhi Leonard wants his logo back.
The Toronto Raptors for- ward filed a federal lawsuit against Nike on Monday, claiming that the design of his “Klaw” logo was his and Nike copyrighted it without his per- mission.
Leonard essentially ap- pears to want full control over his personal logo. Nike owns part of the copyright on it, as it was created when the for- ward was still signed to Jor- dan Brand. Leonard opted against renewing that contract and joined New Balance last November, but Nike kept the

rights to his logo. Leonard’s logo is so im-
portant to him that one poten- tial suitor tried to buy the rights to give to him if he signed there. It seems there will be no need for that now, with the Raptors star opting to settle the matter in court.

With Derek Fisher
Has ‘Squashed’ Beef
It has been more than three years now since former NBA players Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher got into a physical altercation over Fisher dating Barnes’ ex- wife, and the two have since managed to put their differ- ences aside.
In an interview with Liz Gonzales of Barstool Sports, Barnes spoke about the situ- ation with Fisher and his ex, Gloria Govan. Barnes once drove nearly 100 miles to con- front Fisher, but he says the two managed to talk things out.
“We had a little altercation but, to be honest, he and I are cool now,” Barnes said. “We squashed it. I told him where I was coming from. He ex-

plained his side a little bit and we were fine.”
Barnes said he didn’t have a problem with Fisher dating his ex despite the two being former teammates, but he was angry that his and Govan’s two sons were spending time with Fisher without Barnes being informed. He also said he wished he was able to pummel Fisher even worse.
