Graduating from high school is a milestone not only in the life of the graduates, but his or her parents as well. Graduation not only means the end of the typical educa- tion process, but it also marks the ending of childhood and the entrance into adulthood.
And, while those memo- ries will remain with the graduate for the rest of his or her lives, so will other accom- plishments. One memory that Angelique Francois will have is the time she spent at East Bay High School.
In addition to having a 4.5 grade point average and being rated in the top 20% of students, Angelique will also have the title of Home- coming Queen.
The 18-year-old was also the Captain of the school’s track and field team, and was chosen as the Most Valuable Player. She also served as Captain of the Cross Country team.
During her tenure at East Bay, she was the Parliamen- tarian of the National Honor Society and active in the Fu- ture Business Leaders of America, where she served as secretary.
Angelique is the daugh- ter of John and Mathilda Francois and she is a mem- ber of Love First Christian Church.
She hasn’t decided where she will continue her educa- tion. However, she knows that she will major in Biology and she also plans to attend medical school.
Her ultimate goal is to pursue a career in Sports Medicine.
