Workforce Development Advisory Team Chairs And Members Named
On Wednesday, Mayor Jane Castor announced the third of her five-part 'Trans- forming Tampa's Tomorrow' transition advisory teams by naming Tim Marks, Presi- dent and CEO of Metropoli- tan Ministries and Dr. Ginger Clark, HCC Ybor Campus President and Vice President of Workforce Training, as co-chairs of her Workforce Development Ad- visory Team.
Mayor Castor said, “Growing and encouraging local talent is the surest way to continue Tampa's growth into the future. This team has the reach, connections, and the will to position Tampa for an even brighter future. The collaborations, connec- tions, and collective partner- ships will create a network to uplift Tampa’s growing need for a talented workforce for decades to come.”
The Workforce Develop- ment Advisory Team will complement two other teams that launched earlier this month to focus on Trans- portation and Development Services, respectively. The Advisory Teams are vital to helping guide the Mayor's strategic visioning for key City priorities and are planned to each engage for approximately 90 days.

Workforce Development Members
Tim Marks came to Met- ropolitan Ministries in 2006 after serving as the Executive Director of Community Rela- tions for the Boston Rescue Mission. Prior to serving at the rescue mission, Tim worked in the corporate world for more than 21 years as an engineer, account exec- utive and sales director.
Dr. Ginger Clark cur- rently serves as Vice Presi- dent of Workforce Training, where she oversees the Cor- porate and Continuing Edu- cation, Adult Basic Education, and Post-Sec- ondary Vocational Education programs. Dr. Clark has 25+ years of experience in higher education.

Karen Arnold is the Senior Vice President In- vestor Relations of The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the Chamber, she was an ac- tive volunteer and served on the Chamber’s Board of Di- rectors and Executive Com- mittee in a variety of capacities. Arnold is a gradu-
ate of The University of Ten- nessee, where she graduated with a degree in Finance and Banking.
Jesse Coraggio was previously the Vice President of Strategic Impact at St. Pe- tersburg College. He is a for- mer Chair of the Florida College System’s Council of Instructional Affairs (CIA) and a former President of the Florida Association for Insti- tutional Research (FAIR).
His involvement in the community includes serving as the Chair of the Seminole Educational Ecosystem and a member of the Leadership Council for LEAP Tampa Bay. He holds a Ph.D. in Cur- riculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Measure- ment and Evaluation from the University of South Florida.
Cheryl Schroeder is Executive Director, West Central Florida Labor Coun- cil, AFL-CIO.
Mike Ramsey is Direc- tor General Career, Techni- cal, & Adult Education, Hillsborough County Public Schools. Former Director of Workforce & Continuing Ed- ucation, Supervisor - Career and Technical Education Di- vision, Assistant Principal, Tampa Bay Technical High School, and teacher at Plant and Blake.
James Ransom is a board member and Chair- man of the Economic Devel- opment Committee of the Tampa Organization of Black Affairs, and a longtime Hills- borough County employee.
