The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers cleared one major hur- dle this season in getting their first signature win against the Green Bay Packers last week, playing one of their best games in the past decade.
The next hurdle: how they handle winning on a weekly basis with a growing target on their backs as they've emerged as a favorite in the NFC. They handled business against the Las Vegas Raiders, who had an extra week to prepare, with a 45-20 win on the road.
Tom Brady threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns -- he now has 559 passing TDs, surpassing Drew Brees (558) for the career TD passes mark. This wasn't an error- free performance for the Bucs. They started off sluggish as a defense. Their second-half struggles that plagued them earlier in the year resurfaced in the third quarter, before a three-TD scoring explosion in the fourth. The Bucs improve their record to 5-2 to maintain their NFC South lead.
The Buccaneers will play the first of three prime-time games in four weeks on Mon- day against the struggling New York Giants at 8:05 p.m.

weeks in Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and the Raiders' Derek Carr, Brady will be opposed on Monday night by the Giants' Daniel Jones. After being selected sixth overall in the 2019 draft, Jones had a promising rookie season after taking over for Eli Manning, including a 32- 31 win over the Buccaneers in his first career start. He has struggled a bit more in 2020, throwing five touchdowns against seven interceptions and seeing his passer rating fall 14 points to 73.7. Jones does happen to be the Giants' leading rusher, with 296 yards on the ground, more than he had all of last season.
The Buccaneers will op- pose Jones with a defense that ranked first in the NFL in yards allowed and rushing yards allowed heading into Week Seven. That crew has been led the last two weeks by
second-year linebacker Devin White – the player drafted one spot ahead of Jones in 2019 – who in the Bucs' two wins has racked up 21 tackles, 4.0 sacks, four tackles for loss and five quarterback hits. This should be an easy win for the Bucs.
Tom Brady Doesn't Want To Talk About Antonio Brown Yet
TOM BRADY AND ANTONIO BROWN
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are making yet another big splash in a free agent, agreeing to a one-year deal with wide re- ceiver Antonio Brown.
Brown can make up to $2.5 million with the Buccaneers this season.
Brown's deal, which he is expected to sign Monday, in- cludes $1 million in base salary and roster bonuses, the source said. He can earn $750,000 if the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl and has three $250,000 in- centives for receptions, yards and touchdowns.
When asked during his post- game press conference about Brown, Brady preferred to keep the focus on the task at hand, the big picture, and his current teammates.
“I’m not getting into personal conversations we’ve had to- gether,” Brady said. “The guys we have are amazing players, teammates. Mike, Chris [God- win], Scotty [Miller], Tyler [Johnson] caught a touchdown today, J. Wat[son], Cyril [Grayson] , Mick [Jaydon Mickens], the tight ends, Huddy [Tanner Hudson], Gronk [Rob Gronkowski], Cam [Cameron Brate]. Obvi- ously, they’re all doing a great job. We missed OJ out there. We got a good group and we’re all expected to go out there and work every day. Do our best to help the team win, and that’s what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to win football games, and we’re here to do a job.”
