Unique Scrubs Are The Niche For Young Businesswoman

Everyone likes to look their best when they go to work, even people that wear uniforms. According to INC magazine, scrubs are a $10 bil- lion industry in the United States and $60 billion worldwide. Thou- sands of medical professionals enter the workforce every year and 90 percent must buy their own uni- forms.
Scrubs are crucial to medical professionals in that they help cre- ate a sterile environment and they allow for easy identification of med- ical professionals. Go to any hospi- tal or doctor’s office, and you will recognize a medical professional by their uniform – Scrubs. Most are in plain colors like blue or green. Self- expression is really not the norm.

Growing up in Tampa, Lawrence graduated from Leto High School and went looking for her place in the world. Originally she wanted to be a lawyer, but a high-school pharmacy job redi- rected her. She is currently in the pharmacy field of a large insurance company. She is also in the middle of a Registered Nurse (RN) program at Hillsborough Community College and plans to continue her education with an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree to one day open her own practice.
In addition to her job, business, and school schedule, she has 4 school-aged children, 17, 16, 11, and 7. Lawrence states they are her biggest inspiration, and she loves being ‘Supermom’ to them.
Lawrence states, “I grew tired
of the plain scrubs on the market, so I decided to answer the call for self- expression in medical uniforms.” Her company offers many different designs for her clients. Tasha is the beloved daughter of Linda Sanders and Charles Lawrence, Jr. In her limited spare time, she loves to travel with her children, family, and friends. She tries to take a trip every few months.
