Middleton Alumni To Meet Dec. 1st
  IN THE SPOTLIGHT
SARITA
This week’s Beauty Unlimited feature, Sarita, definitely gets your attention. She is sure she will be successful, because she’s willing to make the sacrifices and put in the work to reach her goals. She enjoys being in front of the camera, and being the point of interest no matter where she goes. Sarita is prepared to han- dle any challenge that lies ahead for her. Congratulations to Sarita as this week’s Spotlight feature.
  The George S. Middleton High School Alumni Associa- tion will hold its regular monthly meeting Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, 11 a. m., at the Tampa Police Department District III Office, 3808 N. 22nd Street. All former Mid- dleton students are invited to attend.
Business to be discussed includes appointment of the new principal at Middleton upon the transfer of Dr. Kim Moore to the district admin- istration office, the recent dedication ceremony of the Dr. Frankye A. Berry Media Center and the status of the alumni wall.
Alumni also continue to plan the April 27-28, 2019 Miss Middleton, Kings & Queens Weekend. The two- day event includes a Friday Maroon and Gold Pool Party and a Saturday Scholarship Ball, both beginning at 6 p. m. at the Marriott Hotel Westshore, 1001 N. West- shore Blvd., Tampa.   2018) will be honored at the formal ball.
Among those to be cele- brated then will be Betty Davis, Miss Middleton of 1964. Alumni will honor the graduating class with the largest turnout at the ban- quet. Tigers who wish to vol- unteer to help plan alumni activities are invited to attend the meeting Dec. 1st.
Phan Boston (Miss Middleton 1965) is chair of the 2019 celebration events and Luvator Nelson is
president of the alumni asso- ciation.

Christmas With
The Zetas
The community is invited to join the Beta Sigma Zeta Chap- ter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., for their Christmas activity of fun, food and gifts.
The event will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, 1- 4 p. m., at 2605 E. 21st Ave. (at 26th St.). Gifts will be given to children 3-17 years of age.
Myeesha Harris is Chair of the Community Christmas with the Zetas.
