Obama Photographer Rips Donald Trump: Does ‘Too Many Things’ That Are ‘Not Normal’
Maxine Waters To Take Aim At Trump’s Deutsche Bank Ties As New Head Of House Financial Services Committee
Former White House pho- tographer Pete Souza has not been afraid of throwing shade at President Donald Trump in recent years ― and on Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” he ex- plained it was because Trump does “too many things” that are “not normal.”
Souza, who regularly trolls Trump by sharing snaps he took during his time covering former President Barack Obama’s adminis- tration to Instagram, told host Jake Tapper he didn’t want people to “forget the first 500 days of the Trump administration” and “all the craziness that happened.”

“I’m also trying to correct some of his lies and false-
hoods with photographic proof,” he added, while talk- ing about his new Trump- bashing photo book Shade: A Tale of Two Presidents.
Souza, who was also a photographer for former Re- publican President Ronald Reagan, said he would not have treated failed GOP pres- idential candidates John McCain or Mitt Romney, in the same way, had they be- come president.
“Because they respected the office of the presidency and that’s what we don’t see from this president,” he said. “There’s just too many things that are not normal for a president to be doing.”
Earlier this week, Waters told Bloomberg Television that Deutsche Bank’s lending to Trump will likely be heavily scruti- nized by Democrats once they take control of the House in Janu- ary, gaining power to launch investigations.
In a memo obtained by Bloomberg, Waters also noted her intent to look at any so-called suspicious activity reports filed with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
“With Trump in the White House, I know that our fight for America’s consumers and investors will continue to be challenging,” Waters wrote. “But I am more than up to that fight.”
She reached out to col- leagues as she seeks support
for her bid to lead the commit- tee, and took aim at another big bank in her memo, Wells Fargo & Co.
“We’re not just focusing our attention on Wells Fargo because we’re focusing our at- tention on big banks,” she said. “We’re focusing our at- tention on Wells Fargo be- cause Wells Fargo has emerged with the kind of problems that lead everyone to wonder what is going on over there.”
