Ben Carson Keeps Busy Doing Nothing All Day, Leaves Early, And Lunches With The Author Of Chicken Soup For The Soul
Fox News Welcomes New Contributor, Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile
Starting today, for reasons that are not entirely clear to anyone, you can catch former Democratic National Com- mittee Chair Donna Brazile on Fox News.
The announcement came from Fox on Monday morn- ing. According to Variety, Brazile will provide the “news” network with political analysis across several Fox platforms, including Fox News Channel and Fox Busi- ness Network’s programs.
Brazile, a former CNN contributor, left Fox’s rival in 2016 amid allegations that she leaked questions from a Democratic town hall to Hillary Clinton’s cam- paign. The former Secretary of State debated Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at the event.
In a written statement re- leased today, the veteran Democratic strategist said she knew “my friends in the progressive movement” would criticize her for being on the conservative cable news network, which has

functionally operated as a state TV network during the Donald Trump presidency.
“My response is that, if we’ve learned anything from the 2016 election, it is that we can’t have a country where we don’t talk to those who dis- agree with our political views,” Brazile said. “There’s an audience on Fox News that doesn’t hear enough from Democrats. We have to engage that audience and show Americans of every stripe what we stand for rather than retreat into our ‘safe spaces’ where we simply agree with each other. For there is no safety in self-lim- iting numbers.”

Ben Carson never wanted to be the Housing and Urban Development director; he wanted to be the president. After losing the Republican nomination to Donald J. Trump, Carson was quoted as saying, “Having me as a federal bureaucrat would be like a fish out of water, quite frankly.”
BEN CARSON
Strangely, Carson consid- ered Trump a “brother” (not a “brotha” but you get the point) and agreed to take a position in Trump’s cabinet. Since doing so he’s been a Carson’s time as the head of HUD has been plagued with scandals and bad press. In June 2018, Carson went back to his home town of De- troit to launch his signature mission “EnVision Centers” which would be one-stop shops for all of America’s so- cial security needs. There were to be 17 “centralized
hubs” throughout the coun- try that would offer residents the “support services that can help them achieve self-suffi- ciency.”
most of it. According to an NBC News report, Carson doesn’t do anything when he’s in the office, barely meets with his senior staff and then checks out early on Fridays to head to his Florida mansion and lunches with the author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and the founder of MyPillow.
A year later not one center has been opened. Carson also made news when he spent some $31,000 on a dining room set for his office. Oh, and he still wants to in- crease public housing rents.
NBC News obtained Car- son’s schedule which shows that Carson spends most of his time figuring out how not to be in the office.
Ben Carson didn’t want this job but he took it any- way, and since taking this job he’s been out to lunch for
