Horrific Accident At City Facility Ends With Man Crushed To Death
A horrific accident that left a man dead occurred early Wednesday at a City of Tampa facility. The acciden- tal death took place at 6:30 a.m.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Pablo Femenias, 52, of Tampa, and 46-year-old Gregory N. Robinson, were working at the City of Tampa Waste Water Sweeper Facility, 2708 Maritime Blvd.
Femenias had parked the dump truck he was oper- ating under the covered sweeper station. The truck was being filled with debris by the front end loader.
GREGORY ROBINSON ... Hospitalized after accident
After the truck had been filled, Femenias moved it from the sweeper station and stopped it about 40 feet
away, but directly where the front loader was working.
After Femenias parked the truck, he got out and was in the back of the truck work- ing on it. Robinson, who was operating the front loader, didn’t realize the dump truck had stopped and continued to operate the front loader.
The front loader struck Femenias, pinning him be- tween the back of the dump truck and the front loader. Robinson attempted to give him CPR, but Femenias died at the scene.
Robinson was taken to the hospital for observation.

Ms. Tierra Allen
learned that she was preg- nant on Father’s Day after she took a pregnancy test. When she went to the doctor a few weeks later, she learned that she was going to have triplets.
“I was shocked. It was very shocking to me. It was a mind-blowing experience,” Ms. Allen, a first-time mother said. Her due date was supposed to be February 7, 2017. But the doctor de- cided to deliver them by C- Section on Christmas Day.
The first to arrive was daughter, Zenobia, who was born at 10:35 a.m., and weighed 4.04 pounds. The boys were born at 10:36 a.m. Zakar was second and he weighed 4.02 pounds. And Zamar made his entrance weighing 4 pounds.
Ms. Allen said they are all doing fine, but she’s not sure when they will be re- leased to come home.
Although she knew there would be three babies, she is still in shock. When asked if triplets were in her family she said they were on her father’s side. And, twins are on both sides of her family.
Now, instead of learning how to care for one infant, Ms. Allen has three little ones to love. And, she said she is counting on help from their father, Charles Spigner, along with her mom, Ms. Angela Moore, and her siblings.
A Tampa native, Ms. Allen, who will celebrate her 24th birthday on January 4th,
graduated from Freedom High School. She said she had taken a break, but plans to re- turn to Hillsborough Com- munity College to pursue her education. She wants to be a kindergarten teacher, she said.
Ms. Allen said that she does not have transportation and will need help to get around with three babies. She further said she is living with her aunt, but that she will need her own place because there won’t be enough space for her and the three new- borns.
Ms. Allen has estab- lished a fundraiser account to help her with the added ex- penses.
The message on the ac- count says, “Having chronic asthma, unable to work. I de- cided to go to school to be- come a teacher. My life must wait until I decide what to do about this unwanted preg- nancy. Being the first one to graduate and go to college in my family. I didn’t want to let myself down, so I decided to go on with my life and ask God to forgive me.
“Funny how He had other plans. He saw triplets in my future. I can't give up on col- lege if I'm going to have a bright future for my family. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and it is our prayer that God will bless you in for whatever seed is placed on your heart to sow into these precious babies lives.”
