Beyonce Headlines Tidal’s Benefit Concert For 2nd Year
The Weeknd Cuts His Hair And Social Media Goes Crazy
The old The Weeknd and the new The Weeknd.
The Weeknd shared the cover art for his upcoming album Starboy on Wednesday, sporting a leather jacket, a cru- cifix, and most surprisingly, a brand new haircut.
It's no secret The Weeknd has etched out his own niche in the style world, with his signa- ture locks becoming synony- mous with his career growth over the past few years.
Fans might be shocked at the new change, but anyone paying close attention might've noticed that The Weeknd's hair seemed shorter in his recent VMAN spread. It's hard to be totally sure since he was in a hoodie the whole time, but the cover shot at least showed shorter hair in the front.

Kendrick Lamar released what many considered to be the best album of 2015 with To Pimp A Butterfly.
He since released the untitled unmastered. project and dropped a stellar verse on fellow TDE labelmate Isaiah Rashad’s The Sun’s Tirade.
While fans anticipate what’s next for Compton’s good kid, Mr. Wavvy spoke with Ter- race Martin — Lamar’s right- hand man, producer and saxophonist — about their cre- ative process.
“It’s about just being an indi- vidual and loving everything you do,” Martin says of the differ- ences in sound between Kendrick albums. “There was no pressure from no label or no- body. We did a good kid, m.A.A.d city, we turned around and did To Pimp A Butterfly.
And we’re gonna do a third one.” Martin says there’s no pressure for To Pimp A Butterfly‘s follow- up because they are confident in blending their musical tastes. From radio-ready “Swimming Pools” to the jazzier cuts on TPAB, the process has always been the same.
“We love trap,” Martin says. “We love all that. It ain’t just about jazz or funk artists or that. One thing that I want to say and I’ll always say is, I’m not in that box. Get out the box.”
He also emphasizes that the purpose of the music is not to impress anyone or to get radio play or chart positions. Lamar and Martin understand the need for survival after growing up in inner city Los Angeles, and they make music to bring hope to the hopeless.
Queen Latifah has teamed up with La La Anthony to adapt the actress’ book “The Love Playbook: Rules For Love, Sex, And Happiness” into the new film.
Anthony opened up about her love life, marriage to U. S. basketball player Carmelo Anthony and also offered up relationship advice in the best-
selling 2014 book.
She will serve as an execu-
tive producer, while the proj- ect will be co-produced by Latifah, according to Vari- ety.com.
It is unclear when the movie will start filming or if the for- mer rapper-turned-actress will be a part of the cast.
Kanye To Team Up With Paul McCartney To Do More New Music
Famous boxing promoter Don King made headlines and became a Twitter trending topic last Wednesday because of his appearance at a Donald Trump event.
King dropped the “n-word” while introducing the Republi- can presidential nominee at a church in Ohio.
“I told Michael Jackson. I said, if you’re poor, you are a poor negro. I would use the n- word, but if you’re rich, you are a rich negro. If you are in- telligent, intellectual, you an intellectual negro. If you are a dancing and sliding and glid- ing n-gger... I mean negro. You are a dancing and sliding and gliding negro,” said King.
Trump and other Cau- casians can be seen grinning and laughing in the back-
Rapper Kanye West will be releasing new music with leg- endary Beatles member Paul McCartney.
The rapper made the an- nouncement Tuesday, (Sep- tember 20) at the Houston stop of his “The Life of Pablo” tour.
Kanye previously collabo- rated with McCartney on the songs “All Day,” “Only One,” and “FourFiveSeconds.”
The collaborations drew some criticism, which Paul McCartney shrugged off.
“When I wrote with John [Lennon], he would sit down

ground as King “accidentally” used the word “n-gger.”
Atlanta rap/TV star Tip “T. I.” Harris took offense to the moment. He responded to King’s statement in an Insta- gram post, calling the 85-year- old Cleveland native a “spineless soul-selling coon.”
