New York Giants Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday At 4:05 P.M.
Injuries To Key Defensive Players A Concern For Bucs Following First Loss
Tampa Bay Buccaneers line- backer Lavonte David had to be carted of the field Sunday, but the team is hopeful that the in- jury isn't as bad as first feared.
The Buccaneers are disap- pointed and hurting, with linebacker Lavonte David, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and pass rusher Noah Spence among key players nursing injuries fol- lowing the team’s first loss of the season.
David left Sunday’s 34-17 defeat at Minnesota with what initially was believed to be a high left ankle sprain that could have sidelined him for at least a month, however coach Dirk Koetter seemed optimistic Monday that the injury is not as severe as orig- inally feared.
McCoy aggravated a right ankle injury suffered the pre- vious week against Chicago. Spence, a second-year pro who has Tampa Bay’s only sack through two games, dis- located the same shoulder he had a problem with last sea- son.
Defensive end Robert Ayers and cornerbacks Ver- non Hargreaves III and Ryan Smith also missed portions of the loss to the Vikings, which means an al- ready lengthy injury report figures to be even longer Wednesday, when the Bucs begin preparation for this week’s game against the New York Giants.
Koetter rarely discusses specifics about injuries, but did say he’s hopeful some players already on the report are close to returning.
Three defensive starters — linebacker Kwon Alexan- der (hamstring), tackle Chris Baker (flu) and cor- nerback Brent Grimes (shoulder) — were inactive against Minnesota.
With Grimes out and Tampa Bay’s front four un- able to generate much of a pass rush, Case Keenum filled in for an injured Sam Bradford and threw for a ca- reer-best 369 yards and three touchdowns without an inter- ception for Minnesota.
Giants Owner ‘Very Unhappy’ With Odell Beckham’s End Zone Celebration
Odell Beckham, Jr. has expressed no remorse over being flagged for pretending to pee like a dog in the end zone on Sunday, but that may change if the star wide re- ceiver’s boss gets his way.
Giants co-owner John Mara made it clear that he is unhappy with Beckham’s touchdown celebration in an email he sent to Mike Vac- caro of the New York Post.
“Idonotwanttogetintoa discussion about this, but I will say that I am very unhappy with Odell’s behavior on Sun- day and we intend to deal with it internally,” Mara wrote.

Upon scoring his first touchdown of the season in Sunday’s loss to the Philadel- phia Eagles, Beckham pro- ceeded to crawl on his hands and knees, lift his leg and pre- tend to mark his territory like a dog.
The New York Giants will play the Tampa Bay Bucca- neers in Week 4 of the NFL Schedule on Sunday, start time at 4:05 PM ET, at Ray- mond James Stadium.
The New York Giants (0- 3) are coming from a 27-24 loss to the Philadelphia Ea- gles in Week 3. Eli Man- ning completed 35 of 45 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions.
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers (1-1) are coming from a 34-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. Jameis Winston completed 28 of 40 passes for 328 yards and two touchdowns but three in- terceptions.
On the ground, Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 15 yards in five carries. In the receiv- ing end, DeSean Jackson posted 84 yards and a touch- down in four receptions while Adam Humphries added 68 yards in six recep- tions. Mike Evans had 67 yards in seven catches while Chris Godwin added 44 yards in three catches.

Defensively, the Bucca- neers are yielding 20.5 points and 402.0 total yards (329.5 in passing and 72.5 in rushing per game).
Bar Owner Uses Colin K. And Marshawn Lynch Jerseys As Doormats
A Missouri bar owner is being called racist for taping the jerseys of Marshawn Lynch and Colin Kaeper- nick outside of his entrance for use as doormats.
Placed side-by-side, the jer- seys read “Lynch” “Kaeper- nick.”
“It’s not a race thing,” says Jason Burle, a military vet- eran who owns the S.N.A.F.U Bar in Lake Ozark. “A lot of people want to twist it around to be a race thing.”
Burle said he ordered the two jerseys to be used as door- mats after NFL players began kneeling during the national anthem.
“We pulled them out of the box, taped them down. There was no ill-intent,” Burle says. “If someone thinks that I mean

personal harm to someone, they don’t know me.”
But patron Taylor Sloan thought otherwise when he saw the jerseys outside Burle’s bar over the week-end and the not-so-hidden mes- sage of its side-by-side place- ment.
Shannon Sharpe 'Disappointed And Unimpressed' By NFL Owners Protest
Shannon Sharpe, the Hall of Fame former NFL tight end- turned-the most woke sports analyst to ever to do it, is back at it again dropping straight gems. Sharpe wasn’t feeling the show of NFL locked-arm unity after President Don- ald Trump came out and de- clared that any player who protested during the national anthem should be fired.
“I’m disappointed. And I’m unimpressed,” Sharpe said during Fox Sports’ Undis- puted. “Because this is the tip- ping point. Of the 7,537 things that President Trump has said in the last 50 years, him calling an NFL player an SOB is what brought the NFL, the owners and its players, to- gether. And while some might be moved by the conscience of these NFL owners, it wasn’t their conscience that moved them. It was the cash.”

Sharpe then went on to ex- plain that if the NFL owners were really standing up against injustice, they could’ve done so long ago, like when Trump declared that Mexico was send- ing nothing but murderers and rapists to the United States. Or they could’ve stood up when he blasted the Gold Star Muslim family who lost their son in war. Or when he called Rosie O’Donnell a pig, or was caught on tape talking casually about how he sexually assaults random women.
