Former Team Members Join Legendary Coach At Recognition Program
A program was held to honor legendary coach Billy Reed and to recognize mem- bers of the 1973 Belmont Heights Little League All-Star team that traveled to Williamsport, VA for the Little League World Series.
The team was the first to win the national crown and placed third in the world in
the Little League arena.
The event, a fundraiser to support the Belmont Heights Little League, was held at
the Cyrus Greene Community Center on Saturday, February 25, 2017. (Photos by BRUNSON)
Chef Don Lee provided re- freshments for the event.

Mrs. Luella Carrington, a supportive parent.
Artis Gambrell, President of the Belmont Heights Little League and his wife, Regina Gambrell were at the event.
Beverly Jerry and John Greene were among the guests.
