Surprised Peyton Manning Sees 'Tough' Tom Brady-Bucs Hurdle
SPOTLIGHT
KERRIE
This week’s Spotlight feature is Kerrie, and she’s confident she will have a successful future. Kerrie is a hard worker and will never quit until she reaches her goals of success and stability. Kerrie is not intimidated by stumbling blocks along her path, and says those things only make her stronger. Congratulations to Kerrie as this weeks’ Spotlight feature.
Count Peyton Manning among those surprised that Tom Brady jumped ship after 20 years as a Patriot and signed with the Bucca- neers — just perhaps not for the same reason as every- body else.
When Manning left In- dianapolis after 13 years as a Colt, albeit under much dif- ferent circumstances, he stayed in the AFC and signed with the Broncos.
Brady is taking his tal- ents to the NFC for a change,
TOM BRADY AND PEYTON MANNING
something that Manning said his fellow future Hall of Famer will have to adjust to.
“That was interesting,”
Manning said Sunday on “SportsCenter.” “I’ve talked to Tom at different times, but never really about that actual decision. He seems happy, he seems excited. I’m a little surprised he jumped over to the NFC. I always see Tom Brady as an AFC guy, so he’s going to have to go through initiation to learn the ropes of the NFC. It's going to be tough for him.”
The NFC South won’t be rolling out the red carpet for him, either.
Dak Prescott's Brother Jace Dies At Age 31
JACE AND DAK PRESCOTT
Jace Prescott, brother of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, died last Thursday at the age of 31.
The team provided a state- ment confirming the death:
No cause of death is cur- rently available.
Prescott played football at Northwestern State as an offensive lineman from 2008- 10 after playing at Haughton High School in Louisiana.
"He was a great kid who dominated games," Prescott's high school foot- ball coach, Rodney Guin, told Roy Lang, III of the Shreveport Times. "He was a pleasure to coach—as were all the Prescott boys."
Jace appeared in a Camp- bell's Soup commercial last year along with Dak and older brother Tad.
Their mother, Peggy, died of colon cancer in 2013.
Dak Prescott is going into his fifth season in the NFL and will remain with the Cowboys after receiving the team's exclusive franchise tag this offseason.
Percy Harvin Attempting
Comeback, Hints He Wants
To Play With Tom Brady
Tom Brady’s decision to sign with the Tampa Bay Buc- caneers has changed the land- scape of the entire NFL, and it may have inspired yet another player to attempt a comeback.
Percy Harvin, who last played in the NFL in 2016, said last Wednesday that he has been training with a for- mer Olympic athlete and wants to resume his playing career. Harvin said he thought he was finished play- ing until “that itch came

back.” The 31-year-old did not file retirement papers when he left the Buffalo Bills in 2016, meaning he is techni- cally a free agent.
