Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Hit With Furloughs, Pay Cuts Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
Kanye West Is Officially Hip-Hop’s Second Billionaire, Says Forbes
Uh oh, things apparently aren’t going well at RocNation, the multifaceted management- label-publishing company es- tablished as a partnership between Jay-Z and Live Na- tion.
The company was hit with multiple furloughs and pay cuts last month that extend across as much as half the company, according to Vari- ety.
The entertainment news site

says the furloughs and pay cuts cover all departments and the streaming service, Tidal. The cuts, by the way, are in the 10 – 20 percent range across the board. The company made the moves last month when it be- came clear that the coron- avirus and its effects on business and life, in general, would adversely affect opera- tions such as music and tour- ing.
Kanye West can finally have some sigh of relief because Forbes has now acknowledged that he’s a billionaire, the sec- ond Hip-Hop act to reach that status.
According to a report by Forbes, the money centric publi- cation known for calculating the net worth of celebrities, the rap- per and fashion mogul has pro- vided documents proving he is worth over $1 billion. Kanye agreed to supply paperwork through his staff and after studying them, Forbes came to a figure of $1.3 billion. This is about $300 million more than

Tyler Perry Slams ‘Wicked And Evil’ Scammers, Warns Fans ‘Don’t Fall For This!’
Kodak Black Requests Meeting With Pres. Trump To Discuss 'Brilliant Idea'
Tyler Perry is calling out the “wicked” and “evil” scam- mers attempting to make come up during the COVID-19 pan- demic by using his name.
The Hollywood mogul posted a video on his social media accounts in which he warns fans about the fake web- sites and online posts that claim to be raising money on his behalf, The YBF reports.
“I hate to come on and say this, but I’m pretty annoyed,” he says in the video. “You know, people out there are so

wicked and so evil and to think that they’re setting up all of
these fake sites asking you to send them money because I’m giving away thousands of dol- lars is just downright evil. Downright wrong.”
Perry also hopes social media platforms step it up when it comes to taking action to reduce scammers.
“Please, please please — es- pecially those who have sup- ported me for all these years, you know, times are hard. They’re tight right now. People are really, really struggling. Don’t fall for this.”
In what would appear to be an extreme case of shooting your shot, Kodak Black, who is cur- rentlyincarcerated, asked for a meeting with President Trump on Instagram, for the purpose of passing along a "bril- liant idea." He said that this chat would have nothing to do with his "wrongful conviction," and that he'll sport a mask to protect all parties involved from COVID-19 if and when such a get-together takes place.
To try and get this done, he sent a bizarre message to his lawyer Bradford Cohen through social media, along with the added condition that Trump can kill him if the meet-

ing isn't worth his time. "@lawronin, tell Donald
Trump to pull-up on me, i got a brilliant idea," the rapper wrote on Sunday.
